That’s awesome! Glad I could be of some help, I did read there is a potential coachbuilder group buy being formed, not sure what the details of it but any money that can be save is always a good thing

Just joined the forum and that’s my Sequoia and noticed a bunch of swirls in the paint. Anyone else have swirls from the factory?

If they washed it when it came in it don’t take much to put swirls in depending how careful someone there washed it.

A bunch of swirls is an understatement. Normally it’s hard to see minor swirls in paint and have to see it from certain angles to notice it, but his you could see without even trying. It was pretty bad. Dealership has tried to fix it twice so far and it definitely has improved, but that was not cool for what they cost. Especially since your losing some clear coat to fix the swirls. It’s different if you go wheeling and cause the swirls yourself, but not that bad brand new. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to get it fixed?

You need a good bodyman or detailer. Cut and Polish, rinse and repeat. An inexperienced person doing this can cut through the clear coat so you need to be careful.

I think patience is key, it took me a whole day to polish and coat my wife's 4runner, it had tons of trail pinstripes and swirlmarks, I used Meguiar's DA drill systems and had 2 compounds of disks, just take it slow.

Yes! Patience and take it slow are key. A guy can break through the clear coat if he isn't using the right compound or stays in one place too long. Unfortunately, I have no patience and seem to move through everything quickly so doing a cut and Polish on my vehicles is a recipe for disaster. Thankfully my good friend loves doing this type of work and is very good at it.

Very sturdy. They’re great for getting in and out, high enough to not scrape everything on the trail and stops door dings.

Thanks. I’m trying to decide to go with them or put the same style I have on my 4runner Pro. I have time to decide since my Pro is not here yet.

I've been researching it around, but want to see if anyone has upgraded their fogs? the ones on our truck is really not as good as the rigid ones on the 4runner, I want to keep it OEM looking.

I upgraded to squadrons only because I had them already. The factory rigids were actually really good but didn’t want to transfer them to the new bumper. It’s funny to because I’m actually think of installing them on my wife’s 4runner

It is, I find it aim too low and doesn't seem to spread very far, one of the roads I drive on is covered by trees, which is very covered in spring/summer/fall, so fogs are useful.

    The road is like this:

The 4Runner one is higher and the light spread seem to be wider, I can't for the life of me to get the one on tundra aim any higher.

I just sold my 18 Cement LTD & ordered a Luna Rock. The general manager at my local dealership thinks they could have one within the month, let’s hope so!

Yeah it is. The manager might have a hard time. Not sure his location. My local dealership in Pa they are able to get Pros a lot. But not now with the tundras. I spoke to my salesman which I have bought my 2020 Pro 4runner. A month ago I talked to him about getting me a tundra pro LunaRock he said no way. Then the other day asked him about white or any other color. He told me all the rest that are out there are sold allocated for someone. Luckily I got my LunaRock about a month ago from another dealership close to me. He told me his manager said he cannot even put in for one thru Toyota. He said they could put me on for a 2022 and I said there coming with V6 turbo. Yes to the answer. I said no thank you.
