    Actually I have even completed the install (will try and finish the wiring today) but yeah, my plan is to run a separate switch next to the rear window switch. Don't care for the switch that came with the bar so will try and find something that matches our oem ones better.

    its not that hard i did it on KC lights and if you want it to like when your lights are on you have to tap into one of the other switches.
