Do any of you guys have a DJI Mavic Pro 2? It looks like it is one badass machine. I have the original Mavic Pro but it passes me off.

I picked one up in January but haven’t done much with it. First drone so I don’t have anything to compare it to. So far so good. The technology, range, and speed are all impressive.

Yeah the issue I have is the DJI Go 4 app...the feed pixelates where you can't even see. I haven't flown much in the last 2 years. I actually have it on the charger now. I flew a few weeks ago but the image quality is horrible.

This one is actually my 2nd one. The first one crashed because of some asshole in the neighborhood brought his out. The image and video was perfect on that one. $1K down the drain.

I had mine out about 10,000 feet last weekend and it only stuttered once or twice in HD mode. The new DJI fly app lets you downgrade the feed quality (from 1080 to 720 I think) if you want to maintain a better image connection. I haven’t needed to do that yet.

I initially bought it without the crash protection. Thought better of it a few hours later and reordered with the insurance. Hopefully I won’t need it but it does make flying less stressful.

mavic pro needs light, lots of light, to make a quality image. you can push it a bit but it falls apart pretty quick.

if you're getting pixelated video in the app, it may be interference. the app feed should be clean unless you're trying to shoot in the dark.

the mavic 2 has a much much better sensor. i think the autel evo II is a better machine.

i don't fly that much anymore. looked into commercial license but once i do that, my studio insurance goes up significantly. much more than it's worth.
