Any inputs on throwing this setup on my a.r.e. Z series cap? 6.5 ft bed. 95% daily driver, very limited use in the Cargo rack. 12D8F4ED-A29A-4ECE-91B3-65B667184CD6.jpg2C040657-726F-42BF-8792-78DA971F20FC.jpg

Looks like it would work just fine to me. I ordered a basket off Amazon it sun faded really fast I’d recommend throwing some clear coat on it once you get it.

I used my bed rail tracks with double adhesive tape and an aluminum flat bar inside sandwiches the fiberglass shell to minimize water intrusion. Made my own beefy crossbar to handle the weight. Using the tail system will distribute the weight/transfer done of the weight away from the 4 points and will minimize the stress on the topper in those areas.
When I get my next Tundra with a topper. I will do the same but get the basket first to get the exact measurements and layout of the outer tubing so I can mount it without cross bars to make it as low profile as I can do. Less wind noise and drag.
