I did load the tune, it took about 15 minutes to load. It was such a let down LOL you're a salesman that really can't back up what you say so get overyourself.

You act like loading a tune is difficult. It's definitely not.

Can anyone with a 2019 Tundra 4x4 (non flex-fuel) confirm that 0CP50 (read as Calibration ID: 30CP5001 A44001000) is the latest cal ID for this truck? I'm going to have my fuel pump replaced on Friday and am trying to figure out whether they're going to end up flashing my ECU.

That is the cal ID I have however, I am not sure if it is the latest for a 2019. Has anyone found the tune files for OCP50 on the new VFTuner software? I have looked through all the files and I cannot find anything but the stock tune for OCP50 in VFTuner 1.2.9.6.

I'm pretty positive that the only tunes in the software at present are stock tunes. Tune Packs aren't out yet. No solid ETA. When they are, I'm sure that there'll be an uptick in the traffic in this thread and on the VFTuner forum. All we do is wait and watch letting Mat have the time he needs. It's like an avocado....no, no, no...boom!

Ah interesting, I wonder what those `0CP71` and `0CP81` calibrations are. I wish there was a changelog somewhere for them...

    Other ECUs.

Are they .p5f files? You can likely request to have your latest (or possibly one of your choice, attach it to an email) from .p5f to .vft (.vfc) buy sending your information (like I mentioned in a previous post) to Mat via Zendesk and when he has the time, he will email it to you.

Out of curiosity, why might you be running any tune other than your most recent one, assuming that one would be the most refined?

why not? the flasher still accepts VFT and VFC files. If they are P5F? and you want to edit/flash just submit a request to convert them and include the files / file names

we sent your converted tune FYI in case you didn't see your email

Those are updated FFV calibrations from toyota.

There is nothing updated for 0CP50 as far as I am aware.

Awesome, thanks! I'm in the process of getting my ducks in a row in order to prepare for the installation of my Magnuson supercharger. Just wanted to make sure the dealer is not going to update my ECU and screw me over being able to flash the truck once the supercharger comes in. Knowing this now, I'm going to make sure to tape a note on my dash telling them to "please stay away" from my ECU lol

If they do update it just let us know. We can add the update in really quick. But it's unlikely, I see nothing on TIS.

Yes, thank you! Actually I was comparing my current custom tune to the stock tune (both S/C) last evening. When I have the time, I'm going to flash between the two in an effort to get a more tangible "feel" for the differences, particularly the changes made to the transmission. Looking forward to it.

you can use the compare feature. (open stock and your tune)
bottom left where it shows the 2 file names right click "compare"

however please note the compare feature is way too sensitive right now, so it compares to the 0.xxxxx decimal place, and on some 1D maps it shows "different" even when not.

Yes, I tried that and got "Invalid MAP:Y size is zero". This even happens when I try to compare:
    YWF63 found in C:\Program Files (x86)\vF Tuner\Tundra 07-17
    vs.
    YWF63 found in C:\Program Files (x86)\vF Tuner\Tundra 07-17\Supercharged Calibrations
or either of these to the one you emailed me Monday that was converted from .p5f to .vfc, so you are not joking around when you say it's too sensitive. I think that I mentioned this to you a week or so ago and you said that it's too sensitive.

I got it figured out. Flashed the .vft just now, not sure why it would only take the stock file the other day.

Mat, once we update our ECU to OCM52, will the OCM51 tune be completely obsolete (ie, can delete it from our computer)?

It's your continued missed deadlines that have people upset, you have claimed you have been beta testing for 2020s for over 6 months now, you claimed at the end of November that the 2020 tunes would be finalized and available for purchase, then you claimed at the end of December that you were completely streamlining the way tunes were developed and delivered and how there was going to be no more waiting, but yet here we are into March and there is still nothing.

We have been doing beta testing on 2020s for quite a while. We give you guys dates expect to be done, not hard deadlines.

It's not ready yet. But we are doing it. Take a look around, who else is offering anything for the 2020? They don't even know how to get the data from the ECU.

It will be ready when it's done.

That's exactly what we've been working on this entire time, however we had to put some things on the back. Burner to get an update done to our software because tacoma folks were pirating it. So yea that got precedent. Just like I tell others, when something gets released later than expected, or is delayed, there is always a reason.

We are doing the best we can provide. Like I said look around, ask around, who else can even flash a 2020 at all? Nobody.

Not everything goes as planned and many times it's completely out of control. I'll give you a perfect example: we couldn't ship orders for nearly 3 weeks because FedEx had a massive back up due to severe weather.
I lost power because of that severe weather.

So when things don't go as we initially planned, there is *always* a reason.

The 2020 stuff would already be released if it weren't for our of our testers reporting something to us that we did not know about until December.
I literally have the 2020 files on my computer I just have to fix a small part of code.
But that "small" part of code is incredibly complex.

Part of the reason too is I really don't think tundra and Toyota guys truly understand how big the Toyota truck community is. I reply to 500+ emails on a weekly basis.
    500+... every single week.
    I'm not complaining at all.

So the answer is "hire someone" ok done, did it.

Enough of that, some good news: the remaining ECU IDs I listed a few posts back are done, and release in vF Tuner 1.2.9.8 tomorrow evening, and we have 07-18 tune packs for supported ecus ready for distribution.
(Note, if you're a previous customer who got custom tuning you don't need the tune packs, just request your previous tune be converted)

Hey, Mat, hate to keep harping on the OCM51/52s, just wondering how those are coming along? Will that update be just a base tune? Can we then unlock that with our credits and start custom tuning our ECUs and transmissions? Thanks.

I have the converted files ready now for 0CM51 to 0CM52 update. I'm in the process of emailing them to everyone and instructions how to update. IF your truck is supercharged though there are a few additional things required.

It will be a "stock" 0CM52 file that can then later be modified. There will be our tune version files of it too which you could custom tune as well.

I'll be doing Tundra tickets all day today, and our update releases tonight that has those remaining ECUs, so we should be able to knock out most of this

sending out tune conversions and updates, wanted to post here too that some of you guys (which was emailed) will need to update to 1.2.9.8 which releases this evening in order to unlock it. (0CD33, 0CM21, etc)

NOTE, for 0CM51 / 52. 0CM51 full support will also be available in 1.2.9.8 tonight.
I am sending emails to some of you guys, may make things simpler.
If you have *NEVER* had any cold start problems, cold start loss of throttle, cold start limp modes, you may not need to update to 0CM52.

Anybody get this error when trying to flash a tune? Happens at about 99% on the progress bar and then nothing happens after that to tell you if it's done or failed or whatever. Tried several times and it did the same thing. Batt voltage was above 12v on the rest of the attempts.

I just messaged you regarding this.
The ECU flashed successfully, this is just a verification message.
If you go to our site, download vF tuner and re-install it, you won't get this error anymore.

    vF Tuner 1.2.9.8 release
    changelog: https://forum.vftuner.com/forum/main-forum/240-vf-tuner-changelog-version-info#post1630

We have added a backwards compatible 0CM52 Update calibration for folks who would like to upgrade (cold weather issues).
This file, unlike any other Toyota update, is fully backwards compatible with 0CM51.

This means you can Flash 0CM52 Update, and go backwards to 0CM51 again if you want to.

All future cal updates we are looking at adding this backwards compatibility to. It will also be covered in instructions on how to update, backwards compatibility, etc.

Also not sure if I posted it here but we will be rolling out an optional update for FLEX FUEL trucks that DISABLE Flex Fuel!

Finally, for folks not interested in vF Tuner, we are continuing the 1:1 tuning

Disabled flex fuel would stop the truck from an rough starts? That would be a pretty huge benefit to all of these tundras.

It disables ALL of that flex fuel non sense. Including random Flex fuel % that is totally wrong, Rough starts, Stalling / throttle limp in super super cold weather, Random ethanol calculation changes etc.
