2014 Toyota Tundra limited. I want to purchase some adapters for a Fuel D608 Enduro wheel. My tires are 20”. The place I want to get the wheels said they’ve called some distributors that don’t have 5x150 to 5x5 adapters. Anyone know where I could find them? Thx

I just added Fuel Torque, 20” wheels on my ‘14 Limited and the bolt pattern is 5x150...curious why the need for 5x5 adapter?

The shop told me 5-150 to 5x5 is what I needed. I have 5 lugs, so I would think the 5-150 would work. Have no idea what 5x5 means. I found some 1-1/2 inch ones on Amazon. I pick the truck up in the morning and I’m going to show him what I found. Where did you get yours? Might can call them to order some. Thx

Are you buying new or used wheels? If you're buying new, you should get 5x150 bolt pattern so there is no need for adapters. 5x5 is equivalent to 5x127. It sounds like the shop is trying to sell you some wheels that don't have the correct bolt pattern for Tundra and use adapters to fit.

    A 5x150mm is a 5x5.91

    You don’t need an adapter.

If they’re telling you you need an adapter they’re selling you an incorrect pattern.

    5x130mm = 5x5.12
    5x135mm = 5x5.3

Note that the offset is +1. That's relatively aggressive and may require some modification to work. You should post your suspension setup and tire size, and we'll tell you if it will work.

If you added adapters on wheels with that offset, they would be a few inches outside of the wheelwell.

I have a 2” lift on the front and 1-1/2 on the back. 20” inch tires. I have flares and the told me they would stick out but not past the flare. The story I’m getting is Toyota is doing away with 20” tires and hard to find those parts. I told him out of thousands of 20” tires on Tundras in the U.S. it doesn’t make sense. You’d think they’d want to sell me $1200 worth of wheels. Now understand I’m a novice female on this subject and I think I have my story straight.

Doing away with 20 inch tires? Who comes up with this horseshit? Everything you have been told are lies, seriously.

With a 2 inch lift in front and an aggressive wheel offset, you will need a body mount chop (often abbreviated as bmc or cmc, cab mount chop) to fit those wheels and tires. I would highly recommend that you peruse the wheels and tires section and check out what others have done. Here are a couple threads that will help a lot:

    Official setups that members run:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/official-tundra-wheel-and-tire-setups-pics-and-info.95/

Largest tire you can fit per model. Since you have a 2 inch front lift, you can fit anything that a TRD Pro Tundra can fit since Pros also have a 2 inch front lift:

Holy shit that shop is full of shit...5x150 is correct for the Tundra...go to a discount tire store and have them help you. How I did it. My offset is +20 which puts the tire a smidge outside the fender...I wouldn’t want it to stick out any further...that little bit already slings dirt on the sides...a +1 offset will have the tire a couple inches outside the fender. Personal choice for sure.

That is some major bullsh!t they are feeding you. There are lots of Tundras with 20s. And if they use the adapter with the wheels, it will stick our even more. Unfortunately it seems like they are trying to take advantage of you. I would not give them a penny. Go find a reputable tire shop like discount tire.

Not familiar with those wheels but it sounds like you chose a wheel that doesn’t come in the 5x150 pattern and the only way to make them fit is with an adapter that’ll fit a 5x5 (inch) wheel to a 5x150 (millimeter) hub. The first 5 in those numbers just means it’s 5 lugs. Even if you were to find such an adapter, that’s a horrible way to mount your wheels. Just find a wheel you like in 5x150. And let us know what you decide before handing them any money. Sounds like they’re feeding you a bunch of bullshit.

My wheels are +1 and line up with the oem flares perfectly.

Doing away with 20” inch wheels... now that’s just ridiculous.
I would stay far away from that place.

Would it be possible to post a few photos of your truck with the Fuel 20" Torque's please. Those would certainly help keep my mind from spinning.:help: Thank you.

The offset is +20 which puts the tire about 1/2 inch outside the fenders...I am thinking of adding OEM color matched flares since the tires sling shit all over the sides...more so than I thought for that little bit of “poke”.

Greetings. First of all thank you for taking the time to post those photos. I realize not everyone has the time these days. Appreciate it.

I too don't necessarily care for the tires to poke past the fenders. I have been considering the Bushwacker's if I change out my stock TSS wheels which are a +50. These sit inside the fender and don't kick up anything. Excuse me if I overlooked the tire size if it was posted but are those 285/60's? Those photos really help me. Thanks again.

Man you keep that truck clean! Very nice. Motivating me.

    Tires are KO2 275/60/20...wheels are 20” Fuel Torque with a +20 backspace.

    A few things to realize.
    1. KO2s weigh 57lbs ea as compared to 42lbs for the Michelins.
    2. In general, All Terrain tires run approximately 1 inch taller than the same size in say a Michelin All Season M/S variant.
    3. The stock TRD wheels weigh 31lbs ea...my Fuels weigh 36lbs. I did look at wheel weights and steered clear of styles that were heavier.
    4. More aggressive tread increases rolling resistance.
    5. Stock offset is +60 and tires are inside the fender, new offset is +20 and they sling mud/dirt.
    6. Tire Width is the same for both at 10.5”.

So my current set up added 20lbs per wheel/tire, 1 inch in height and more aggressive tread which impacts braking, acceleration, mileage etc. Personally, I liked the characteristics of my truck with my stock wheel/tire setup.

The Fuel/KO2s look killer but that’s it. Similar to running in snow boots vs running shoes and I do spend most of my time on pavement. This where I went wrong...I ignored my use case and jumped to an AT wheel/tire combo for looks and its not an ideal fit for how I use my truck. Oh well...

I may have my TRD wheels powder coated and go back to Michelins and keep the 20s w/ KO2s as a winter set. Or maybe they will grow on me and I will just drive it the way it is...I know, crazy thoughts...

So it depends on what you like and how you use your truck.

    Hope this helps.

Those wheels DO come in a 5x150 pattern though, I think they saw a woman come in and figured they would get over on her by upselling adaptors and selling old stock they had sitting around that happened to be in a 5x5 pattern. Some of these shops are the definition of scumbags!

Looks great and I'm considering the very same wheel. I saw another member saying he hated his because, with the matte black finish, they looked like hell in no time after washing them. What's your experience been in that regard, and overall?
