That reminds me of a local Jiffy lube in Tampa that got busted a few years back for not changing filters.

Another reason I despise anyone else working on my stuff.

    Glad you caught it.

Yep...can't beat a G-Shock!! I was just looking at your pics. RCI doesn't cut the washers into half moons any more....guess it wasn't necessary. I will post pics of the rear cat plate once I receive and install it. The reason I ordered one is to make it as hard as possible to get to the cats. What's to say that some a$$hole thief wouldn't cut the pipe on the back side of the rear cat just to cause a repair bill because he couldn't steal them all together. Now the long wait for plates to be designed for the 4Runners.

Nice. I like it. Did you have to drill the front inside holes to match the RCI skid or were they already there?

Yeah, many thieves will do something just to punish you for making yourself a difficult target. Maybe I will get a rear cat plate. Or a full transfer case skid.

I've had this G-shock for 3 years. It's a solar watch and has kept a full charge whether I'm outside or not.

I drilled them. I temp installed the plates and marked the holes and then pulled it off to drill them out.

I'm looking at this TRD pro kit that is for sale. Its from a Sequoia. I know the rears won't work but will the fronts work on my 19 Tundra? I dont have the part number of what he is selling and doing some research looks like they might fit. Just not 100% positive. Screenshot_20210304-071520_Facebook.jpg

Was able to get video on my stock 2014 Entune through a series of connections. I'll add the details of parts I used in my build thread. I was also able to wire a switch to disable the lockout while in motion. Sunny day, screen is still pretty visible. I will preface with I think this is easier to do with Android devices.

DE Skid installed with RCI skid, utilized the rear RCI bolts for install of the DE skid.

Here's a picture of one of the awning brackets mounted to the crossbar.

Used these bolts (had to get washers & lock washers too) ... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCDXIOE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8 along with these channel nuts (I removed the springs) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G8X9JOA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s02?ie=UTF8

Those worked with my Rhino rack crossbars but you might need a different channel nut depending on your brand. Probably didn't need 4 bolts but figured it wouldn't hurt :)

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing. That awning is going nowhere on the rhino rack side.

Yup my thoughts exactly! Probably rip the bolts holding the rail to the topper before I have to worry about these!

I called the shop today and he said he saw my name is on the delivery for next week. So I'm scheduled for the 15th. So stoked! And I'm happy that it's getting here before I planned on starting my move to Texas. I was worried I'd have to come back up from NC while we're staying with family on the way down for a few days.

Moved the rear camera for my VanTop 612T LCD rear-view mirror to behind the topper glass up high so I can now actually see behind me :). I like that you can move the video image up or down with the touchscreen in case you need to see lower or higher.

Sorry for the messy garage ... hopefully we get some warm weather soon so I can do some spring cleaning (still haven't cut up the box the Rigd spare carrier came in a few weeks ago).

Looks good! Is that one of the ones that just sandwiches around the factory RVM with rubber bands and shit, or is it a standalone unit?

Yeah it attaches to the factory mirror with some rubber band-ish straps. Works well so far ... no complaints yet. I did have to remove my factory mirror since it was too big for the VanTop to mount to without snapping it's mounting tabs (had the factory homelink, dimming & compass mirror). Just replaced it with a $13 basic mirror from Autozone and I was set.

Weird question, but are the dash displays different on Platinums? I ask because I don’t have a temperature screen like that on my sr5.

Check the build link in my signature.
I think it depends on the model year. Over time, they've tweaked the info display.

Finally did the ARB rear diff breather relocation. Is this the only breather on the Tundra that needs to be raised?

I believe it is the only one that from the factory that is super low. The transmission and front diff breathers are near the top of the firewall in the engine bay ... or so I'm told. Looks good though ... unfortunate that no one will get to see it :)

I just went to my UPS store box and picked up my TRD Shift knob, Toyota Hitch plug/cover, OEM LED Bed lighting kit and my AJT Designs chrome delete kit for the interior. The knob was installed on the way home, the plug once I got home and the interior chrome delete kit may be this weekend. The OEM LED bed lighting kit and the OEM power remote tailgate lock and unlock will be installed together soon.

Ah ok. I figured it was just a model year/trim thing. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing a setting on mine!
