Wife went to use the truck yesterday started the truck and it displayed a trailer wiring type or connection fault.

We have not towed anything with the truck since we got it and this came out of the blue

I am hoping it's not another mice issue.
    Help!!!

Mice, possibly. Check your plugs make sure they haven't gotten moisture inside. Might take a look at fusebox to make sure you haven't popped something. If you find no obvious problem take it the dealership.

If you live where there is winter, salt, sand... ...check inside and on the back of the trailer socket for a bunch of nasty “shmoo” / corrosion built up.

    Update,

My wife had picked up some bales of hay and after we unloded we swept out the bed. The next day is when this started popping up for these warnings ect.

I go clean the truck and vacuum everything with my shop vac and vacuumed out the trailer plugs as well.
A big chunk of hay came out of the plug area and ever since then the warnings have been gone!
Weird yes but they have not come back since.

Just wanted to post an update.
Thank you all for the help its very much appreciated. And Happy Easter!
