Recently added a Revesol steering wheel, that I've gotten a lot of interest in, so figured I'd post my opinions here.

Firstly, its a great value at it cost. It was to my door for $260, not bad.

Obviously it is using the same styling cues as the Vivid Racing wheel and similar to SDHQs wrapped wheels. With some small variations.

    IMG_2524.jpg

The wheel is just slightly larger in diameter than the stock poly wheel. Oddly, but not a in a bad way, it is square shaped around the hoop, like a box pressed cigar. I think this shape combined with the very pronounced finger indents on back make it very easy to keep a grip on.

Major pros would be that it has multiple ergonomic features. Theres a thumb depression just above the lateral cross support, as well as a slight nub on the outer side just below the bar, for people that like to grip the wheel at the 5 and 7 positions.

    IMG_2536.jpg

    IMG_2535.jpg

The only real cons Ive seen arent a big problem. There was some glue residue on the outer leather near the bottom and some of the edge or tail ends of the leather were a little loose. Easily fixed by super glue yourself. Not really a deal breaker at this price.

    IMG_2534.jpg

    IMG_2533.jpg

As far as the wheel itself, or concerns for safety. The wheel is similar in appearance to the stock wheel, but appears to be slightly different. It seems clear to have come from a Toyota model or possibly a cast made from another Toyota model. It doesnt look like it matches my old poly wheel exactly though. Im not sure if there are other Tundra wheels that have similar differences, possibly the 1794s since they have different top and bottom casting.

The center framing metal looks similar, but didnt have an exact part number match embossed on it. I cant speak to it structural strength without destroying it, lol. But I felt no flex, nor did anything look poorly cast nor did the metal look grainy or porous on the surface.

Having been in enough serious accidents myself, steering wheels are important in consideration to being in an accident, but in no way would you want to come into contact with the wheel yourself. Im not personally concerned with this wheel being an issue as it seems more than secure enough to do its intended job.

    TLDR;
Its a great deal, would recommend for anyone looking to spend an extra 100-200 over doing a wrap themselves.

Revesol on Ebay. They also make two carbon fiber variants.

It looks like they may have sold out currently.

Slowly adding more stuff. Recently added a Pedal Commander, nice little toy, makes daily use a bit nicer. It doesnt feel any faster per say, its more like having power without having to ask for it. :D

Also, I have been running the Dirtydeeds budget single exhaust for a while and while I love it, I miss the distinct sound my Pro had with the x-pipe integrated. So, finally got my parts from Gladstone now that the snow is gone and am pleased to have just that again.

The old single is for sale as well now. :hattip:
    IMG_2751.jpg

The dual sounds a bit more like a muffled exhaust, the one thing in particular I absolutely love about it is that I can get it to pop and crackle on command with S mode.

Unfortunately the single does make a noticeable amount of power and I could immediately feel the difference after the swap. I'm pleased over all though.

Added a K&N 63 series. Have to be honest, a little disapointed, but not for what you might be thinking.

I've ran these plenty of times, probably 5 times now actually. They always add a wonderful growl at WOT and seem to add a little oophm to the top end.

Maybe a word of advice though, for anyone running a Dirtydeeds exhaust, the growl is kinda hard to hear over the exhaust when you kick it in the guts.

So, it feels a bit stronger up top, and I can hear it, but just barely. I'll keep it.

Another steering wheel shot, just for kicks.

Decided to pull out the scale that since I never see anything regarding how much the front bumper weighs.

So the painted plastic caps are 1.6 lbs
The chrome caps are 6.6 lbs
The center bumper bar is 34.4 lbs
The plastic center is 18.8 lbs

So for those of us with chrome caps your bumper weighs 66.4 lbs
For those with the plastic caps youre at 56.4 lbs

Teton Workshop shifter is in. Really like how it sits about as deep as the stock knob, no so keen on the texture. It is made with the same materials used to make knife handles, but has rough coat to the painted areas leaving it feeling a little rough to the hand.

    Overall, I like it.

Recently picked up a TRD Pro skid and figured I might as well paint my tow hooks while I had the skid off the truck.

For any Cement guys out there, Rustoleum 7587 Dark Machine Grey is a pretty decent match for trim.

Got my clazzios the other day, light brown quilted. Pretty stoked, they look great especially considering they cost a whole $450.

Clazzios are in, well, 90% in the truck. The headrests are the hardest part.

These are the light brown color, they are pretty close to the old red rock color Toyota used to put in the Tundras.

I was just looking at quilted Clazzio pictures in Tacomas yesterday because I couldn't find any pictures in Tundras. Thanks for posting those - they really do look great!

I've done Clazzios 4 times now, so it took about 2 hours total. I havent gotten the headrest covers on yet, those are always the hardest and appear to be harder than usual with the Tundra.

All in all though, they were easier than the Tacoma and FJ cruiser installs of the past. Unbolting the rear seat really makes that one a breeze.

If anyone is considering adding seat heaters I should add that they should not be purchased with the quilted covers. I had issues with them staying stuck in my Tacoma, which had quilted as well. Now I realize its because the backside is not flat like the leather and PVC covers, so they came unstuck while I was installing them today. Unfortunately they really dont work well with the quilted covers. Oh well.
