I have a brand new set of roof rails for the Tundra. These are the one thing these trucks are ultimately missing for any kind of modular rack system. They are 54-in and length, would fit CrewMax or double cab easily. I got these because I planned on putting up a roof rack, decided to go another route at this time. The rails are powder coated, have the slight bend to follow the drip rail. This way you can put a t-nut in there and have a mount point.

Shipped it cost me $140, would like to get $80 shipped for them. LMK thanks

How do these mount to the roof? I assume you have to screw them into the roof along the drip rail?

You use stainless rivets to rivet mounting brackets to the drip rail. IIRC, there are 4 brackets per side for a double cab, and 5 for a crewmax. The rails screw into the mounting brackets.

Yep, what @RepeatPete said. I have a crewmax, I actually used some of these top hats that are riveted to the drip rail for my Prinsu rack. I only have three per side. I have loaded lumber, kids climb on it, use it as a bar to hold onto when I pull myself into the truck. No issues at all.

Thanks for the info. I like the idea, but drilling into an intact roof is just a hard threshold to cross. I know its done all the time with no issues, just don't think I'm there yet.

These are tempting. Wonder how water tight they are. Anyone know of any issues with water leaking inside the cab.

Your in Orange county bro, no need to worry, ha. Rains like 7 days a year. We just moved back few years ago.
So, I have a similar setup that went with on the wifes truck, 2 weeks of HEAVY rain, I checked daily. No drips. Ill reseal again just for good measure.
