I can get pics later today. It's a rubber like tube connecting the snorkel to the air box intake. Has 2 clamps on each side.

I've done Mojave water crossing a few times and hit a pretty deep wash out in Death Valley this year. Mostly for cleaner air and in case I run into deeper water. I’ll be testing the snorkel in a few days on a trip.

No huge rush man, just trying to plan a bit. I figure it attaches similar to my old Tacoma snorkel. I'm picking up a factory intake box today to maybe see if maybe I can rig up a few parts to make the s&b work and if not I'll go back to the factory intake. Thanks.

After my last trip to Death Valley, Dumont Dunes, and Alabama Hills the air filter was 100 times cleaner so it's well worth the investment in my opinion.

After all of the trips this year I had to give the paint some help. She’s nice and shiny now.

March 7th’s Sourgrass trip

Nice, Sourgrass is a fun little trail. We used to have a cabin up at the top of the hill just off Boards Crossing. I coyld make it in and out pretty quickly in the 4Runner. Looking forward to taking the Tundra through there.

 

Sourgrass is a great trail. It’s next to some other great trails too but one of them I’m never making it in my Tundra.

 

Slick Rock. Yeah, i got two good dents and one busted CV on that trail. The CV was on the new reroute section.

Deer Valley, another dent, busted mirror and lots of rock rash on the armor. There's no way to squeeze a Tundta through that trail without a lot of damage.

Hwy. 4 is one of my favorite areas.

 

That's awesome! Did you do all of slick rock?

 

I may not have been clear, but those trail runs were in the 4Runner. Yeah, I ran Slick Rock several times before and after the reroute. I don't think I would attempt in the Tundra. Looking forward hitting up Corral Hollow this summer, Sourgrass, and my ultimate favorite, the Lube Room!

 

Some friends I visited when bringing my brothers Abarth from Sacramento to Tucson told me about it so I had to stop and get a pic for the bro.

I really need to spend a few out days out there with the truck. Such a cool/quirky place!

Awesome! Go out for a trip for sure and spend a few nights. Lots of sights to see on the Anza Borrego trail.

 

What's the Lube Room??? Best damn burgers, fries, onion rings, drinks, atmosphere in Upper Hwy. 4. It's right at Hwy. 4 and Boards Crossing on the left side. Great place to end the day up there.

 

Oh nice! I have always gone to Snowshoe Brewing.

Nice build! You guys look like your having a blast over there in Cali.

Just curious about your thoughts on the ADS coilovers with 650 springs with the steel you added. If doing over would you go 700 or is the 650 spot on? Thinking about the ADS coilovers but I wouldn’t do bypasses as I wouldn’t run as much high speed in CO as you guys.
