2020 Crewmax doors won’t close. Cab is air tight because I can open another door and they shut fine.

What is the fix. Should I take it back to the dealer.

Are you taking about having to just make sure you give the door a good firm shut to close (especially the rears)? I have the same thing in my 21, but have gotten in the habit of just making sure to be firm when I shut them

I'll bite. Your truck isn't airtight unless the USN built it. Try rolling a window down partially to test your theory. Regardless, a dealer visit would be recommended. Maybe some insulation/rubber molding is off kilter.

    To much to list:)
Shut the door a little harder. Every Tundra I have had if there is not a window down then they do not shut with a touch of the index finger. I am on the wife all the time to stop slamming the doors! I explain that when a door is open already or a window is down you do not have to Hulk the door shut!! Doors should be fine that is just the way new vehicles are or can be.

There are flapper vents in the rear of the cab who's sole job is to vent cabin overpressure when closing doors or if the airbags deploy.

Take it back.... check your dash and your door trim. waaaay back in 07 I started having similar issues with the driver door needing a little more motivation in closing, then I started noticing scratches where the door meets the dash as it was completely discolored on both sides. they had to realign both front and back doors on the driver side, as well as touch up both dash and door trim.

Knocking out a window would help :boink:. .. lol. . Kidding . . Honestly, I think it's normal for these trucks . My 19 and my 21 are the same way. Seem to be a little harder to shut than most trucks. .maybe it's the weight, maybe it's sealed better. . ..but I don't see it as an issue.

How is this even a problem? My 2021 is the same way, but it tells me my truck is well sealed rather than something that requires a dealer visit.

Close the door a little harder.

Both the old 2014 and the current 2020 are hard to close when the truck is closed up. Different story when a door is open.

Same. I can tell the truck is 'sealed' better than the last 2 trucks I've owned for sure. I see it as a good thing.

Could just be the weather stripping being new too. I had a deer hit me on my driver's side last winter and they had to reskin both doors. They put new weather stipping on them and it took a while to get them to close all the way without significant force.
