I kept my TRD cat-backs after going long tubes headers, which last week I added factory cats back and added an x-pipe, I can tell you the improvement was vast, I can't recommend it enough.

That sounds pretty intense. I'm sure it's better than the TRD duals. I guess I'm either keeping mine as is or just adding the H-pipe for now. Did you drive your truck for long enough with the H-pipe on to get a feel for it?

Yup, had a 600km/372miles round trip this weekend, it feels amazing, right now at hwy speed the truck is quieter than stock, you can hear very slight V8 noise, I mentioned that it sounds like a stock AMG E63 (naturally aspirated).

Was that with your new exhaust system or the TRD duals with added H-pipe? You stated that you added an h-pipe to the TRD dual exhaust system and that you've changed the headers and cats. I'm looking for feedback on the TRD system with added H-pipe, I've only read vague reviews and am looking for a bit more of a description before making any moves. Thanks

    I have x pipe, not h pipe.

I added to it after headers, headers didn't change the sound of exhaust, just much louder, almost exaggerating the helicopter sound, then I added x pipe and factory cats, it made it sound very composed.

I'll have my son take a new video for the exhaust, but this is long tube headers + aftermarket cats connecting to TRD catbacks, you can hear the helicopter sound, above 3500rpm is ridiculously loud.
