I talked to Don McGill also, I'm across the country so it would be about $360 shipped, the guy I talked to said they're selling 5-7 daily. I talked to desert eagle after that and he figured 12-15 days out, $325 shipped. I had him add me to the list.

Yeah, they quoted me around $290for pick up. I called back to inquire about shipping and they said it’d probably be an extra $100. I’m heading out to Katy in about an hour:spending:

Yes, you will need to either cut 2 slots into the front of the DE plate for the 2 rear TRD miunting bolts to pass thru or drill 2 pass thru holes into the DE plate.

The tech that installed mine drilled 2 holes, his thinking was if somehow someone got the rear DE mounting plate bolts out, they would still have to deal with the mounting bolts and back up nuts for the TRD skid.

Just went by Don McGill Toyota here in Houston and snagged a DE skid. There were about 3 or 4 left in the pile that I could see. But there were equally sized crates next to them unopened. He said their own lot got hit for 4 of them and a small town close by got hit and the local mechanic came by and grabbed a handful of them recently as well.

Frank was my sales guy who took my phone order. Great guy, I called and asked for a manager and bragged on the guy. Managers always hear the bad, rarely the good.

Tyler...816-438-8156. Valhall's Shield is the name of the company, he offers protection for front and rear cats and either in steel powered coated or aluminum in 1/8", 3/16" or 1/4" thickness. Instead of calling he ask that you text and he will respond back.
I ordered the front aluminum 3/16, charging 325$ installed!

Will he follow up when they are ready? I'm sure he's extremely slammed with the rise of thefts going on. Gave him my number via Facebook and haven't heard back. Don't want to pester the guy but really don't want my cats stolen..

Desert eagle? I called him this morning, he said he'd call me when they're ready. Give him a call if that's who you're talking about

100% no modifications need, just a bit of a PITA to install, I actually installed one on a voodoo blue TRD pro yesterday

Here is a custom colored one but you can see the slots all my standard plates come with that will slide into the same bolting location as a TRD PRO plate

Arrrrrrgh. I've got the skid plate and didn't realize it needs modifications to fit under the damn TRD pro plate. Anybody know the measurements on where to drill?

I think the shipping quotes from Don Mcgill Toyota will depend on who you talk to. I ordered mine from them and I can tell you it was no more than $310 shipped to me in Florida.

Thanks - I have a plan to crawl under with my impact driver. I'll pull the rear bolts out of the skid plate, slide the DE underneath, prop it with some yoga block and bolt the rear of the DE plate to line it up. I'll mark it, pull the DE back out, drill it, and slap it back on. That's the plan anyway.

I talked to a guy named Carlos. It's $78 for them to install. I wish I wasn't so cheap and had I known about the drilling, I would of had them do it.

I charge $25 to install, but my plates aren’t bad for those with minimal mechanical inclination
