Any thoughts on the ICON Stage 1 1-3" suspension lift system ? I just can't decide on what to use. I want the TRD PRO stance and I was heading towards the FOX 2.0/2.5 setup but then read some bad reviews and ended up on the ICON Stage 1. I haven't found a lot of reviews on the ICON Stage 1 for the Tundra. For what used PRO shocks are going for I could get these brand new.

Toytec aluma series or Bilstein 6112s are by far the best bang for your buck. ICON makes nice stuff, but their lower end stuff is overpriced junk, and a lot of people have issues with their UCAs.

I get ready to hit the buy button on the Fox 2.0 then get hung up on the “they’re to small for Tundras”. Even though the stock bodies are 2.0 and they survive just fine. So I start leaning towards the fox 2.5s. The 6112s seem like the old favorite around here. Thanks ! Now to find them in stock.

I am installing fox 2.5 coilovers and 2.0 rears tomorrow. The coilovers were hard to find.

I’ve had icons for awhile both on this truck and my last tundra. I like them. I also have the tubular uca with dj and my truck aligns. The only thing I’d change is I’d get the 700 lb springs due to my bumper and winch.

You’re fine with the Fox 2.0 with street and mild off road. If you going to push the truck offroading, then jump to 2.5’s or 3.0’s.

I've had zero issues with my Icon UCA and haven't read about any problems with them. There is always 15 different versions as to which option you should go with. At the end of the day all the major shock companies are very similar to each other. Of course fox boys will say buy fox.... kings, icon.... they all will give you the same answer about what their running. All are good choices so just go with what you like and can find.

Nope Bilstein 6112/5100 @ 1.9” lift in front. I’m happy with them.

I'm a huge fan of Falcon's suspension...buttery on the washboard roads and solid confidence when towing!

I live by the ocean and icons hold up to salt extremely well. However not a ton of shops work on them in comparison to fox/king so research that before buying icons

My ICONS on my wife's 4runner are wildly better than I ever expected...it's a stage 2.5 back in 2013 and this last year I just rebuilt them after 45k miles of normal useICON recommends every 15k if you do some full-stroke suspension flexing every day...cost me about $1500 to rebuild and throw back on...they feel better now than when I first installed...you always need to remember, the cost if ownership on high-end suspension is beyond what is ever thought about...beware of that as I was dumbfounded when I had to rebuild them...remote resis up front will be something you'd be glad you did for what it's worth...Metaltech was an amazing reseller of ICON products and though not specifically for tundras, they do all the small chassis Toyota truck stuff...worth calling to figure costs with them!

Remember, hobbies are expensive but they make for some great memories!
