I'm reminded of Dick the Butcher in ''Henry VI,'' Part II, act IV, Scene II "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers."

A friend used to say: "There are only two kinds of lawyers. Snakes, and mine."

Good luck with the site, hopefully the legal wrangling will be over soon.

It's usually just a warning page because the site doesn't have it's security certificate installed or it hasn't been renewed (no https://)

Hopefully it won't be exclusively on Fakebook. I won't be buying anything if it is.

I definitely see where you're coming from. I'm not a big FB fan myself. The trouble I'm running into is that our corporate HQ has decided they do not want any of their dealerships to sell parts online unless going through a marketplace (ebay/Amazon/FB) so they assume all liability for collecting taxes. I have been very vocal about trying to find a solution to keep our own store up and running, but corporate management > lowly parts guy. So, I have to explore these alternatives, at least for now.

I understand and sorry this is happening. Hopefully you can get it rolling in a way everyone will be happy with. I posted that cuz I don't have a Fakebook account and probably never will. However Amazon loves my money

Dunno if you’re still experiencing this, but I had this happen on another vehicle of ours. I tore a two foot section of duct tape lengthwise and put it over the seal. Noise stopped. Permanent fix is a urethane based adhesive, but I think that duct tape has been on there for about a year now!

I'd rather give my money to @Roman than Sparks.
@Roman has helped/advised me and sold me over $4k of parts for my 2014.:D

But I had to buy my LED Pro headlights from Sparks a few months ago since TOCS is down.
If Sparks can sell online, what is the hold up for TOCS @Roman ?

As others stated, if Facebook is the only option to purchase, I'll buy elsewhere...:(

Damn, go away around black friday, and come back to find this happened. WTF.

I got the same cert error as above. Then I got redirected to some "Revolution Parts" site. How weird.

@Roman, hope you're at least getting by alright.

    Huh. Good find.

The old browser address parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com takes you to a different site, www.oemgenuineparts.com, with Toyota parts system machinery.

With no word from @Roman, this development could be good, or it could be bad.

There are many Toyota parts sources out there. I have used others, found some lacking, but @Roman was more personal and helpful in his liaison role than any other site.

If you never buy any Toyota parts, that wouldn't matter to you. But, if you needed an obscure Toyota part number, part information, or very competitive pricing, @Roman/TOCS delivered.

I hope to see him back in that role soon.

Now seems self-evident that this news means a bad outcome for TOCS, and anyone that valued Roman's parts input.

For all others, I suppose the answer is meh.
