those yotaleds or whatever the name is on here. I did not like the kit because it limits you on where you place the lights and in my opinion they were too close. I cut the wires and redid everything and plus the kit does not have a connector and who wants lights on a grill that you cannot disconnect when removing the grill ‍♂️

Anybody knows what fuse tap source Rica used for the running/ parking lights with Raptors leds only....I have a add a fuse tap to my HL (15a) but only comes on with all lights ON..
So like to have it with one click of the left light switch to draw to Raptors! Thx in advance!

Anyone have ideas for brackets that are similar to the Yotaleds?

You could take some thin gauge metal (they sell small 1’x1’ sheets at Home Depot, and cut it and bend it how you see fit? (No idea what the Yota LED brackets look like

Oh yeah, you could totally make that yourself, the metal is super pliable, all you’ll need is an angle grinder and a square

I'm gonna stir the pot. Toyota must have seen you guys with the Ford wannabe lights and decided to make the 2022 look like a deformed F150 lol.

Amazing to me that this caught on so hard that Toyota literally put this on their new truck.

Now the "new" mod will be removing them off the 2022s

Here is the route I went. Just 1” angle aluminum mounted with exterior grade double sided tape.

    325F8E68-3A54-464D-88F8-D3A0EE10BE13.jpg 65FD41A5-569D-45D5-BC8D-024688F64DF9.jpg AACB309E-AB29-4C92-8EA9-3E075CCF762E.jpg

My father has done this “look” since well before 2010 (when Ford decided to claim and call them “raptor lights”). I, in turn, also liked the look of the DOT clearance lights and decided to put them on my rigs back in the 2000’s. While perhaps not necessary per se, I enjoy the look and scoff at those with the silly ignorance notion to say it’s a Ford “thing”.

To each our own, I suppose, just my two cents.

Any chance you'd have a photo of it mounted on the grill? Looks to be pretty solid since those exterior grade 3M is pretty damn good.

I agree with you. Naysayers will hate the look of it, but personally, it makes the truck look aggressive. Lots of T4R and Tacos have it so the market is wider than just Yotaleds, but with the Tundra community, doesn't seem like a lot of guys/gals want to run these sort of marker lights.

Yes, here are so more pics for these lights. They were done for the RAV4. However, the same install was done for the Tundra. I’ll dig up some pics from that install too.

How were you connecting all the LEDs? Was it all running to a single wire?

In essence, yes, they are all connected to red and black that run the length of the grille. The black is grounded locally at the hood latch and the red goes back into the cab at the oem style switch.

The Gray two pin connector can be seen/accessed at the “tundra” access panel in the top of the grille. This was done to easily disconnect the lights if ever the need arose to remove the grille.

directly tapped into the drivers headlight harnesses sparkling lights (violet) and ground (white & black) wires for now. Eventually I’ll go back to redo the wiring and instead use the add a fuse.

These grille lights are from Walmart (~$18) they are extremely bright and match the same amber as my "running lights" I would highly recommend
