    Lots of shenanigans.
Does anyone have some examples of their DIY Traction Board Mount in their bed? I have an idea of how I wanna do mine but would like to see some examples before I start this project.

Ummm I use long zip ties if that counts. When it's time to go wheeling I throw them on top of the bed rack, zip tie, and call it a day. The only time I ever really need them is when I hit the sand dunes.

My X-Bull boards came today with mounting bolts so I ordered some 10mm bedrail cleats to attach the board to. I will post pics as soon as my bed rail cleats come.

The threaded rods and washers and nuts came with the boards , I just cut down some electrical K line to fit and ordered some m10 bedrail T slot nuts to thread them into

Yeah a few times. But most of the time they didn’t get me unstuck. I’m not really a huge fan of them. I usually wheel with a group and it’s just easier to pull each other out with a strap. That was my old truck and I haven’t mounted them on the new truck yet. I’m not sure I’ll have the space. I would definitely take them if I went on a trip solo or maybe if I were going to the beach.

What Jerry Can Holders are those that you have? Also are they mounted to the bed of your truck? Great setup

Those were on my old truck when I had a 26 gallon tank. Pretty sure they were Smittybuilt. I bolted them down through the bed which was very solid. But the top strap down piece began to bend and wouldn’t stay on after a couple of years. I don’t recommend them, there are better ones out there.

Good to know, thanks for the info. I have two 5 gallon cans as well and looking at possible mounting options in the bed.

This here was the issue. They added the V to put some pressure down on the tank. Good idea in theory, but the metal began to fatigue and just wouldn’t hold its shape after awhile.

Thanks for the ideas. I added a T brace for more stability. Turned out great.
