I have a 2018 SR with the gray plastic hood bulge. Is it possible to paint these? And what other grills might fit? I’ve done other appearance updates but the front end really looks so plain. Any help appreciated. TIA

Painted mine came out pretty good. I think it looks better than grey.

Some duplicolor my son left. Black and a matte clear. I think from advance.

What grey hood bulge are you guys talking about?

Post a pic of your front end, so we can see what you are dealing with.

Mine was chrome, I sprayed Bed Liner and am happy with it.

Just do a search on Chrome delete and hood buldge
Tons of threads. Just search Hood Bulge in the thread title search. I got 156 results and some specifically mentioned painting them.

    Good luck.

*Edit* On my phone or I'd of grabbed a few of the links and posted them.

I can post a pic tomorrow but it’s the same as your chrome hood bulge but it’s gray plastic. Looks odd with a black grille.

I'm was just trying to wrap my head around the Grey, but Google gave me a stock pic. I didn't even know they did Grey surround with other color trucks.

But yeah, I pic would be nice.
