I have a very slight front of dash / windshield ticking noise. almost sounds like leaf hitting windshields. I thought there was post detailing the solution but cannot find. Does anyone remember the thread? It was a plastic piece or something that was loose. Thanks

Dude. I am getting something similar as well. Almost sounds like a plastic piece or maybe a wire tapping up under the dash on certain bumps.

If i recall, I think it was something loose up in the rear view mirror area?

I will check around rear view mirror. It is very soft almost like a pine needle tapping that stuck in a trim piece. Extremely random, i ride down extremely rough road not a sound. thought it was speed related but did it even go 40 mph

I went and checked by rear view mirror there is/was a piece of plastic that covers one wire on driver side and it was loose. I don't know if that was the cause yet but when I slid it back up against the headliner and it was much "tighter". I havent gone for a drive.

Also check the A pillar on the passenger side. Check the very top corner where the pillar, windshield and headliner meet. Mine is making some noise from that spot and I think I recall reading in one of the threads that was a trouble spot for noise, etc. with the pillar rubbing against the the top of the windshield.

    Function before sparkle.
Windshield cowl. Stick a took between the glass and cowl (outside) and see if it’s gone.
