Got some RB20 boards and installed them while on some boring ass work calls. 03813AF7-69FA-4F92-8CCD-0A233DF0D098.jpg445A8745-5DAE-4DDB-A121-517D0353A97F.jpg

Went for a little light off roading today and this is what happened when I hit a pothole in the trail... the tab on the backside is smashed flat also. Looks like it’s time to get @TOTAL CHAOS cam tab gussets.

I was able to get the truck to an alignment shop to get it back to tracking straight. Just very thankful it wasn’t worse and I was only a couple fire-road miles away from civilization.

Took all the tools/recovery gear from my 2000 Tundra and put them in the 2018.

Then borrowed my buddy's heated garage and installed my new Tyger running boards; since neither myself, my wife nor my sister in law (who lives with us) is over 5'6", this was a necessity! Now I can get in my new truck without having to jump.

I sold my Taco and got the Tuna a few weeks ago, in a few years I will be towing a toy hauler. Until then I will running the same setup I had on the Taco. I do 15-20 track days in the spring/summer. So I will be having my Tepui, RCI, gas, tires and my motorcycle on a hitch mount like you see on my Taco. With all the weight I had to do an OME upgrade and still had sag.
Sag no more, so before the track season starts, I got pro active and installed the Air Lift 5000 wireless one EZ mount. The install was fairly simple. However all the U bolts and mounting bolts had extremely long studs with nylon nuts. So my arms got quite the workout. Airbags were simple, however the compressor was a different story. I could not find any YouTube vid's on location. Found 1 but he mounted in the bed. I found a nice spot towards the back center. Mounted by a provided U bolt mount. Again long studs with nylon nut, was almost impossible to get a socket in there, but took my time and had patience. Installed the backup schrader valve in the gasing compartment.
Got it all in and really happy, my first air bag setup. Raised almost 2 inch's at 75 PSI. Loading it all up in a month, hopefully the will perform perfectly!!!!!

My son and his buddy installed it.
Due to the weather, I was driving with my windows up until yesterday and I hear a noise on the right side now. Idk what it is. But I have to wait until he's back in town so he can take a look at it.

Looke like it is independent from the handle itself. Temp fix I threw some epoxy and kinda fused it for now. Shot Roman a DM so hopefully he knows the bracket I’m talking about so I don’t have to buy a whole camera hahaha.

Doing a little digging, you might be up shit creek there - looks like it’s only available as part of the camera. Maybe hit used parts/wrecking yards/ebay

lots of them pop up in https://www.car-part.com
Plug in 2016 Toyota Tundra and search for Camera Projector, then pick camer (tailgate mounted)

I was trying desperately to completely wear out the duratracs that came on the truck new but I pulled the trigger on a set of Toyo AT3 in 275/65r20. I had a really tough time deciding on a size but settled on this one after what seemed like endless research and comparisons. Tried to match up some before and after shots as close as I could so anyone with a tire dilemma could get some helpful info. Before was 3/1 lift with 275/55/20 duratracs. After is 3/1 lift with the new toyo AT3. I have a few more shots from different angles if anyone would find them helpful.

I got my Diode Dynamics SS3 fogs installed today.

This was the first day it was nice enough to get out and work on the truck since I got my oil changed at the stealership a couple weeks ago. Of course, 2 of the 3 bolts for my skid plate are missing. They need me to come in for an appointment to look at it.
