I needed this a couple of nights ago.
    What brand/type of lights?
Seems like a good low budget mod.

After my head unit install, I got some more bits and pieces from Amazon to clean up some wiring. 1st was a couple of center console organizer pieces. Then I switched out the 12v outlet in the console with a dual USB charger. I also picked up a generic wired Carplay adapter and a USB extension cable to route into the console so I can put my phone in the console in the organizer. I zip-tied all the wires up and then put it all back together again. I was planning this beforehand so I left the USB from the headunit behind the bottom panel and did not need to pull the entire dash apart again which made it much easier.

Some cheap Amazon specials. I've had decent luck with cheap lights (nowhere near as bright as fancy name brands) but when good enough is fine I'm happy.

They aren't as bright at night as the ones that came off that were admittedly a little obnoxious anyway.

The ad states "Unbreakable PC lens?" Isn't that what was written on the Titanic?

Well, I think I'll take the plunge too :mudding:

    Nice!

I bought a couple of Black Oak LED's for my boat and I'm super impressed with the quality/price. Seems like a great company.

I sanded the chrome with 280 grit and painted right over it. There were no spots that were spotty and it seemed to adhere very well!

Ordered a Sony HU with Apple CarPlay from Crutchfield. Tomorrow, I’m having the place I bought It from replace the rotors. Have a slight shake in the steering wheel when braking. I’m pretty sure one of the rotors are warped

If it's too good to be true, it probably is. A look at their about page has their address as Dan's cleaners in Albany, NY. A California phone number and saying calls are not working in COVID? I didn't know phone calls transmitt covid. Also, look up their domain registration to China, so yes, too good to be true.

That's what I was thinking. I'm not a fan of the style anyway so I wasn't going to buy it but definitely a too good to be true situation just could not figure out what I was missing.

The drop down menu shows the different items with separate prices so that price you are seeing is for just one piece it doesn’t come as the whole 3 piece set for that price

I bought the RW wheels from another member with the rings already powder coated. I removed one of them once and didn’t have too much trouble, but the other three have not been removed since I have owned them. I have heard that they can be impossible to get off though.

I bought it off of automotivetouchup.com. I bought 1 can of my paint code, 1d6 and one high gloss clear. I should have done a few more coats of clear but I can always go back and hit it again with some more clear. I was painting it in my basement so I was a little rushed before the wife came home. LOL!

I'm sure it's probably been done by someone on here. It came as an option on my truck so I don't know.
