It barely rubbed the little plastic air dams in front of the tires. I simply removed those.

    Truck looks great!
That setup gave it a really nice stance.

I have been looking for a spec like these +25 313 wheels for sometime now.
I already have a 18” fuel Anza 18x9 setup with 285s on my tundra. I am looking at buying a new Sequoia in the next month or two.
I know the fuel wheels are pretty much all +20 and 9” wide . I know even with my fender flairs on the Tundra I have just a slight poke on the rears. I like keeping my stance as flush as possible. Between the1/4 inch gain from the 8.5 width compared to the 9” plus the extra 5mm of offset that should get me to close to half inch more tuck in .

What size of tires are those? Did you stick with your planned 285/70/17 size.
That’s the size I am looking at .

Yes. I did go with the 285/70-17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I’ve since added King shocks as well. Love it.

I think I finally got deal together on a new 2020 Sequoia, anyone know any reason these 17” 313s would not fit a Sequoia.

Well I answered my own question. They fit it just fine.
I went with the P285/70/17 Falken At3w's on the Method 17x8.5 +25 black rims.

Those wheels look great on y'alls trucks
I hope they look just as good on mine
I have a barcelona red dc and went with the titanium gloss in 20x9.5 +25
I currently have NV305 but the clear coat is pretty bad.
What sold me was the weight and well its totally different from all the bead lock style rims i see within my community
Photoshopped them on my truck. I like the look

I know this is an old post but those look great. Was debating between dropping the coin on 5100s or rims/tires first but if I can get that with the stock suspension I think I would go the wheels route first. How's it look with the kings?

    Moment of truth
20x9.5 Method MR313 +25mm offset in Titanium color with some Venum black widow spiked lug nuts. Man i feel the difference with such a lighter wheel. I also see it in the mpg gain. 20200804_084333.jpg 20200820_151836.jpg 20200820_151844.jpg 20200820_162449.jpg

I just got the 315s w +18 offset. 285/75R18 Toyos. I wanted the 313, but they didn’t make them in the color I was after.

That looks awesome. What tires are you running? I wanted 18s but this setup looks great. Do you have another direct pic from the side of the entire truck like the photoshopped one?

Just put these on last week, 17x8.5 +25 with 285/75/17 Open Range A/T's from Les Schwab. Toytec/Eibach complete front coilovers set at 2 inches to level it off. Only had to remove those little front flaps, doesn't rub anywhere else.

Anyone explain the difference in the 313 and the 702? Is the 702 the "trail series" and more catered to offroading?

That's a very good question that I was asking to my self too.

A quick research and found one 313s are ~$68 ea more expensive than 702s that would be over $250 each so 5 702s would be equal to 4 313s

    Also

    313:
    • Flow Formed Construction is lighter while maintaining overall strength
    • Solid A356 aluminum with T6 heat treatment construction
    • Barrel Strengthening Ribs increases radial rigidity
    • Machined pockets in spoke windows further weight savings
    • Knurled bead seat keeps tire bead seated under extreme force
    • Debossed METHOD logo on outer lip
    • Carbon fiber MRW snap-in center cap with Flow Form logo
    • Hub centric fitments for common applications
    • Super strong 2650 lbs. load rating
    • Industry’s best lifetime structural warranty

    702:
    • Patent pending Bead Grip® technology engages tire bead for increased grip at low tire pressures
    • Aggressive safety hump on bead seats further prevents de-beading
    • Reinforced inner lip taken from MRW race wheel increases strength
    • Solid A356 aluminum with T6 heat treatment construction
    • Debossed METHOD logo on outer lip
    • Snap-in center cap with embossed METHOD Bead Grip® logo
    • Replaceable snap-in center cap with optional red METHOD lettering
    • Super strong 2650 lbs. and 3640 lbs. load ratings
    • Hub centric fitments for common applications
    • Industry’s best lifetime structural warranty

Main differences I noted in bold

So 313s seems to be very weight saving oriented, and 702s seems to be very low tire running and off roading oriented.

Any rust or corrosion issues with the MR313 in titanium in the Midwest?

Just got mine mounted up today with Toyo Open Country AT3 in P285/70/17. Stock suspension and just a little rub at full lock. Ignore the mounting grease, haven’t had a chance to get it off. A little more poke than I was thinking it would be but I’m happy with how they turned out.302285A5-1BF7-4471-B393-AB1C5EE115F8.jpg 7E0EF0F0-CAD4-4588-B65F-402933985C17.jpg

Couldn't find a clear answer, but does anyone know if the stock TRD-OR lugs fit the MR313 rims? I could not find any mention of lug style needed for MR313.

No, they will not work. Must have ET style lugs.

Okay, has anybody with 313s had issues with factory sensors fitting? I had all 4 of mine installed when I got my wheels. Worked great, no issues until I swapped tires and they broke one. They tried putting one of theirs in and it wouldn’t pair up. Tire shop agreed to pay for an OEM sensor so I bought one and took it back up there and they tell me it won’t fit cause binds against wheel. I take it back to dealer and get a sensor with a different angle and take it to tire shop but it wouldn’t pair with truck either. At this point I’m getting frustrated and tel them to pull a sensor out of another tire so I can get a part #. They agree and it turns out it was the same part that Toyota had given me the first time and shop said it wouldn’t fit. I go back and get correct sensor and carry it to the shop and they again say it will not fit. They didn’t know it was the same as previously. They break this one in the process and finally get one of theirs to work and pair up with the truck. It now flashes low tire light intermittently and tire shop has agreed to pay for another OEM sensor. This time we are pulling out another one to compare dimensions and shape despite being the same part number. This is on a 2021 that had aluminum wheels originally and non push button start. If you’ve read this far thank you. Part number 42607‑0c101.

For those of you going from R18 to the R17's, what did you do for a spare?

I currently have 275/65/R18 tires on TRD +60 rims and plan to go with 285/70/R17 Falken's on the MR313's +25 offset. Also installing 6112's +2.5" top setting and 2/1 cb 1/2" shims, +3 rear shackles in back.

For the spare, I want to either want to:
    A. replace the R18 spare tire with closer size 285/65/R18 or
    B. replace the steel spare rim with R17 and tire to match new tires.
    C. MR313 & new tires: prefer not to do this
    D. keep R18 and 275/65/R18 spare

In either case of A & B, I will need lugs for the spare since new ET lugs won't work. Curious if either tire would rub with the different offset of the spare rim. Also, will 0.1" tire diameter difference matter all that much?

    Sizes:
    275/65/R18 (existing): 32.1"x10.8"
    285/70/R17 (new set): 32.7"x11.2"
    285/65/R18 (spare option): 32.6"x11.2"

I have the same wheel and tire setup you are looking at on stock suspension. Imo there is no need to get a closer size spare since they are only about 1/2” diameter difference. I may be wrong but I don’t think it will effect anything for temporary use being fairly close on an open diff truck. I have ran spares with greater difference than these two with no issues. If I did anything I would find a 285/70r18 tire and use on existing spare wheel.
