Westscott designs lift. I think ready lift makes one as well but westscott is the most cost effective

Stop by the lunar rock rock there are a few lifted 21s there. I’ll be posting mine up there shortly with the above mentioned westscott lift

You don't need a lift, it's all about the wheel offset. Get spacers or new rims to get near +25mm (on 8.5" wide wheel) and you'll be good.
If you have rubbing after that, your alignment is probably not great (the factory spec is very wide).
You will need to remove the mudflaps up front.
Some people have put spacers behind the front bumper to make more room as well. Good & cheap option if you need it, I didn't need to.

Are you stuck on actual 35x12:50s? If not 285/75/18 tire will fit on your truck and rims as is. At most you may need to remove the front spats. 285/75-18 is a little thinner, but still a 35 inch tire and they fit much easier than the 1250 wide 35s.

For 35x1250s you may need wheel spacers or new wheels to clear the UCAs. Then may need body mount chop to stop rub there, and the usual plastic fenderwell manipulation.

Is much easier to run 285/75-18 or 295/70-18s vs a true 35x12:50

Not really but it be nice to have the biggest tire on it... I am contemplating the 285/70/R18 or the 295/70/R18 but I heard with the 295 it rubs slightly even after taking off the mud guards.

It’s all about offset. I just crammed 37x12.5x18’s on my 2017 Platinum With Bilstein TRD Pro suspension. I have +25mm offset from my Method NV’s.
I don’t like the lifted “bro” look, I opted for a body mount relocation and some cutting n trimming. Truck is used 95% pavement/highway. All my off-roading has been forest roads, trails. Nothing crazy so far.

I’ve been testing it out, sharp turns into steep driveways/ drive thru’s will have a very sight rub. I’m gonna hammer down the pinch weld and trim a wee bit more plastic.
I went this route as more of an experiment to see what works a stage at a time.

I know guys what your going to say. Lol if your questioning gas mileage then you should not do it. But I’m curious what are you getting with it lifted and bigger tire size. Has anyone checked. I plan on probably bigger tires down the road but just wanted to see what your average is. I do mostly all highway with my 4runner now. My truck with be the same way. Thanks.

Well I moved from the stock OR package tires to E load 33s- 275/70-18 and my MPG dropped 1.5-2mpg. You can expect a bigger drop as the tires get larger. It is safe to say that you can expect a minimum of 2-4 MPG less running 34-35 inch tires.

No additional lift is needed. CMC will most likely be needed.

285/75 here. The width makes them a bit easier to fit than 295s and a LOT easier to fit than 35x12.5s. I’m on TRD Fox coilovers & rear shocks and OEM UCAs and wheels. I removed the little mud guards in front of the front wheels, and that’s it. 2705180E-E335-4289-A294-7375E4C08417.jpg

What relocation kit did you use? I'm really debating going to 37s and like you, I'm not big on super lifted look, ground clearance is what matters to me.

Not in that pic I posted above but yes I do. It’s a bit more rake than I want, but without them, if I put a couple hundred pounds in the bed, I would squat. The 2” lift up front is partially to blame, but stock leafs kinda suck, too.

I like the slight squat look, I think its what makes the pros. I am afraid if I dont plan carefully I will lose it...

The performance shop installed the Body Mount relocation kit. Solved a lot of present and future headaches if I ever want to changed wheel style/size/offset.
Ground clearance, I’ve gained a wee bit under 2.5” it’s much easier to slide under the truck now.
I’m going to see how it drives for a while to see what else might need improved.

    Thanks!

I left for work around 5am this morning, I’ll get some pictures and measurements (actual ground clearance is never brought up in tire chat) hopefully if it’s not too dark.
If anyone would like to see pictures of “squish” or articulation let me know. Like I said, I wanted to try a different route and record what works and what doesn’t.

So far one of the biggest drawbacks is stopping when ever I walk by Tunny in my driveway, grinning and nodding like the village idiot.
