I find the Slash extremely predictable after a few years of running the Stampede.

I moved the rear shocks in on the a-arms and used an additional small spacer. This just about leveled the truck. I think it handles great. I'm only a basher, but I appreciate a good handling truck.

The Aarma stuff seems to get good reviews. Or keep your eye out for used trucks or buggies.

The LaTrax Prerunner gets here tomorrow. Really affordable. I'll post up after I get to drive it a little.

My neighbor bought the Senton 3s BLX truck. Holy smokes that thing handles like a beast and is fast as heck. Definitely smokes my slash

Thats true, they are more expensive than most others. I just haven't ventured out on my Slash and I prefer the traxxas plug over the Dean's plug any day.

I’m going to be picking up an arrma 3s soon. I’m torn between the granite, senton, or big rock.

the senton really impresses me. Whats amazing is how stable it is. Even on asphalt it can hit the brakes and spin without flipping over. Really impressive

I like how much room there is to grab the plug. I had Dean's on a few cars in the past and when they're hot its hard to disconnect.

The traxxas ez charger is also ridiculously easy to put them in storage mode. Worth a few bucks

I have 2 young kids (7&9) that always want to "help Daddy" and the Traxxas stuff allows me to let them do things like "go charge the batteries" and I don't have to worry if they selected li-po or balance charge. It's just plug and press, which is worth the money in my book.

I agree but I bought different brand battery’s as I can get 2-3 bats for the price of one of the traxxas

    So true.
And if I was hobbying without the kids, I would have the better batteries at less $$ I literally was just in the RC store to buy a second set of batteries for my XMaxx, and I had a pair of killer 100c mega power packs in my hands for the same price as the Traxxas 25c. All I could think of is the kids being kids and something going south, so I opted for the plug and pay Traxxas and I can sleep knowing the kids won't burn the house down by an avoidable accident. Once they are older, I'll stray from the Traxxas heard.
All things being said, I have 3 Traxxas trucks and their service, availability to call anytime, parts are in every store, and most of all their products are fantastic!!!

The LaTrax Prerunner is awesome. 1:18 scale. But really fast. Suspension is awesome.

Learn mode at 50% is still pretty quick, but perfect for my learning 4 year old.

2.4 controls. Full size Traxxas controller. I'm impressed. Came with battery, charger, and even the batteries for the controller.

I use the air compressor. And if that won't do it I will hose it off. Then I usually wipe down with a spray wax.

Just like a truck. Higher it is the easier it rolls. LOL For bashing tho either is fine. If you are racing LcG for sure as you can corner better and won’t roll that easy.

I have a fully upgraded slash and a 6s kraton. I haven't used them in about a year. I should charge them up and bash them again.
