Finally got my new SPC UCA's installed about a month ago. Night and day difference on handling and alignment tolerance's. Lock to lock without any noise. I started with the 5/3 Zone lift, then added heavier rear spring's from OME and Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks in the front and 2.0 Fox rear's. Ended up with a 6/4 lift overall. Couldn't get a decent FE alignment until the SPC's were installed. Happy Happy now... even though I had to buy a bushing kit that wasn't in the box that I ordered from Wheeler's. It was easier to pay for the kit timewise. This truck take's a beating on the washed out back roads on my Mexico deer lease. Huge improvement.

Yeah brother, we have a whole house Generac generator and a private water well. Lost a few citrus tree's though... not looking forward to the natty gas bill either. How about you?

You did good then. I drove from Leakey thru San Antone and then back to Cypress on the Sunday the ice rolled in. The elevated roads in San Antone looked like a destruction derby...LOL Two truck rollover's also.

I'm happy with mine....Dave at CB powder coated them red. Recently added Toytec 2.5's. He said with mostly road driving SPC's were the way to go rather than JBA's although I do a little off road for hunting.

How are you liking the toytecs? I'm thinking of swapping my bilstein 5100 3/1 spacer lift for their setup with these up front with spc's. My ride with the spacers is just a little too harsh.

On and off road the SPC’s are superior to the JBA’s in every way.

WOW, just love those clickbait posts from someone who slows to 3mph for speedbumbs. SPC's were great on my last Tundra until your 30 miles deep on a road without stripes and that first hard bump sends the top nut sliding and AGAIN with the SPC's you get to go the the alignment shop. I'm 100% OK with all you parking lot princesses and how you build your trucks but next you should spend $5000 on a winch & bumper setup so you can get yourself off your mailbox when you run it over.

I goes hours away from the nearest gas station with zero cell reception for days. Idk who you’re describing but it sure as hell isn’t me. I have a winch because if I get stuck in some of the places I go (Chihuahuan Desert) and can’t self extricate, I will die. Where is it that you go so hard core extreme that the SPC’s failed you? I can’t wait to hear from the hard core, off road God! This should be entertaining.

Well this escalated quickly. I was under the impression JBA’s and SPC’s were both highly regarded. I mean hell I’ve seen people have issues with total chaos and camburg on here.

I’m loving my Aluma 2.5’s so far. I drive a few gnarly roads for ice fishing and it’s the only action mine have seen, but it’s much better than stock. I just recently did this so I am only a month in...

They both are but one is better than the other. Doesn’t mean JBA’s are bad. I’ve installed both and wheeled with guys with both. They both work but the nod goes to SPC’s. That other guy got butthurt because he bought JBA’s and doesn’t want to think there’s a better option.

I'm liking them although I'm using spacers to get 3 inches...not harsh at all.

Dave at CB simply said they the JBA's had way more adjustment value than I would ever need for mostly road driving....this would equate to problems so go with SPC. I followed his direction. He was not making a quality judgement....or at least I didn't think he was.

I'm a big fan of JBA's, solid and true... Probably the same as SPC, but haven't used the superior brand name... All is good and better than stock.
