Anyone have any experience with this version of the F5? Any photos? I’ve seen some 16s and the 17 with -38mm on here but not this one. Curious how far they stick out. I love these wheels and would probably only be running 265/70 r17s on there.

    Hey,

I did a lot of research to find someone running this setup on Instagram with the same truck/color as me. I really wanted these rims but they are always sold out. I went with Method 305nv with the updated cap on 285 ko2's. I say go with 17's to clear the breaks.

Below is the link to the guys IG running these, im sure you can DM him and ask questions.

I thought I could live with method 304’s (double standards 16s w/ 4.5 in backspace and 0 offset). They still looked tucked in the fender well of my truck. So I’ve got a set of spidertrax 1.25 spacers on order. I wish I had got the scs with a more aggressive offset. Just never could catch em in stock

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah they are hard ro catch in stock. I had a shot recently but wasn’t ready to pull the trigger because I hadn’t done my homework.

@jerryallday nice looking rig! Are those 17x9? Offset?

@Cummins3500 what size tire are you running?

@Kessel McG, currently on 265/75/16 BFG all-terrains. I hate em but they were on the truck when I bought it.

once they’re gone I’ll either go to 285/75/16’s or some 255/85/16s probably cooper st Maxx’s

@Cummins3500 not liking the BFGs or the size? I have 245/75/16 Michelins that came on mine. Great tires but are muy pequeño.

@Kessel McG, no gripes with the size. Size actually looks pretty good on the truck. It’s the BFG’s lol. I’ve had 2 sets of them and IMO they don’t don’t do anything well

Great wheels, had them on the 4runner only thing I would criticize is that they're heavier than I was expecting out of the size
