2.5 lift aftermarket rims custom exhaust

Hello all I've been having issues with my four wheel drive, I can engage it but when I disengage it light flashes and won't re-engage until the truck sits a few hours or cold starts half to a dozen times. Lil background info I recently had alternator replaced then this all started

I am going to follow this. I got stuck on my property yesterday because the 4wd would not engage. I can hear it trying, but nothing. Light just blinks. I have a 04 Tundra.
