Figured I would reset my maintenance message since the oil change will happen soon and decided to go bed the pads, lights are gone and pedal is back to normal, go figure!

Glad everything worked out. I plan on doing mine soon and don't like hearing about problems. Stories about how smooth everything went are much more comforting to read. :D
I am going to do my rotors this time, but I'm wondering if something like this
would make the job easier next time since you wouldnt have to remove the caliper.

Going gently with a screwdriver worked for me, even though I had the new rotors, but yeah thats a good tool. I still need to re-seat the wheels and get rid of my wobble but yeah take your time do it right. Great write-up!

TIP-If also doing the rears check-
Inside of steel wheels, they rust where mounted-wire brush it off!
Adjust the parking brake to just where you have resistance, use the lugs to keep the rotors straight, otherwise it may mount up a bit cocked and give you vibration at speed,
Then take off the lugs, with the E-brake engaged to keep the rotor straight, mount the wheel whack it all around lightly with a hammer to ensure the rotor is over the inner lip, and torque wheels in the air 154 ft/lbs.
The most work was the prep and jacking to be honest.
    YMMV!

I'm in process of replacing my front brake pads and rotors with stoptech and was wondering if you can tell me what is the torque for two calipers bolts?

    Thank you very much in!

I replaced both the front and rear, I was at about 62 k mileage wise. I am having a LARGE amount of vibration, more than before they were changed. Any suggestions on what that could be?

Torque on front calipers is 74 and 68 for rear calipers.

What is the torque setting on rotors? Or will that be on the rotor box when received?

    TIA!

Aren't the rotors held together by the wheel lug nuts?

Asking what lbs to torque the lug nuts. I've read that tightening lugs too tight causes warped rotors and I want to prevent that.

Great write-up and discussion. Will be doing this project this weekend and will post results. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to do full OEM for parts. Figured I would post what I found for OEM part numbers for my 3rd gen 2017 Tundra:

    (1) Brake pads - 04465-0C020 (each set comes with 4 brake pads)
    (2) Brake rotors - 43512-0C020
    (4) Hole Pins - 90240-06024
    (2) Pin Hold Clips - 90016-AS903
    (2) Anti-Rattle Springs - 04947-0C030 (each set comes with 2 springs)
    (1) Shim Kit - 04945-0C040 (VERY important if ordering Toyota brake pad set since they do NOT come with shims)

Side note: have read on other threads on here about the Toyota TRD performance pads. Part #PTR09-0C111 and come installed w/ shims

6 inch lift, ADS suspension, Alcan custom rear springs, 46 gallon metal gas tank, Full Line-x body, Wheels with 35's, Smittybilt bumpers front and rear, 10k warn winch, custom rack.
I did this not long ago along with ss lines, and a full rebuild of the front rotors due to bad boots. If your going this far I would check your boots on your calipers to make sure they're good. If not rebuild the calipers, it's 14 bucks I think from the dealer for a rebuild kit and it comes with lube.
