Has anyone added remote start setup to their SR5’s and if so any links to do so and have you had any problems out of it?

I used 12voltsolutions kit. Very easy plug and play. Install took less than 45 min. You can find more info on my build page.

I ordered the MPC off ebay. Going to install it sometime this week. It's supposedly plug & play with 2 wires to splice. Hopefully all goes well.

I have Start-X along with Carlink. Remote starts with 3 presses, or use the app since the unit has cell so I can start, stop, lock/unlock, check battery voltage, and trucks location, from anywhere. Flawless with no hiccups. It also allows for 4 external on/off controls, perhaps lights, or even horn.

I got mine from James @Tech12volts , wouldn't buy one from anyone else. Easy install and works petfect.

I purchased Start-X off Amazon. Install looks to be the exact same as 12Volt and works the same way, except I press the lock button 4 times instead of 3. Start-X is much cheaper and is a very solid unit with easy plug and play install with their wiring harnesses.

Tech12 website states that 2018 and 2019 models, one wire needs to be cut and spliced??? Soooooooooooo, who can verify or dispel? I get leery when the big print says plug and play and then as you read, it's not so..
