Update: Called Agricover earlier this week and turns out they never sent the clamp kit when I bought the cover. Got the clamp kit today and now Im having issues with the side rails. No matter how much I raise the clamp, I cant get the side rail to be level. I think its the correct side rail(length is perfect) but the bulky weather striping attached to the side rails make it hard to level it. FML...

Can someone with the lomax installed (with deck rails) post a picture of how your side rail looks (looking from the back of the bed to the front)

that’ll be great! Thank you. I just want to see how side rails are mounted and how level they are.

Here is a pic from when I installed mine last year. I was really OCD when I put mine on but after all that I think it was unnecessary. My bed is actually a little out of square (one side leans out a bit at the tailgate) so it drove me crazy for a while but it’s been pretty water tight anyway. In my opinion the side rails don’t have to be level with the bed side, in fact I think it seals better if the side rails actually sit a little lower then what the directions show. The lower the side rails, the better/tighter the cover seals against the top of the bed sides and tailgate.

Thank you! Yeah its driving me nuts trying to get it to level. The weatherstrip that I got on my side rails are definitely more bulkier than yours so it sits lower but probably can wiggle it to get it close. This helps out a lot!!! Thank you!

Personally I don’t think the weather stripping between the cover side rails and the truck actually does much. Ideally I guess they side rails of the cover would sit slightly higher than the plastic bed caps so water runs out, but I found that most, if not all of the actual water tight seal comes from the underside of the cover fitting tightly against the top of the plastic bed caps. This is why I chose to adjust my cover side rails to sit a little lower so it pulls the cover down tighter against the plastic bed caps on the sides and tailgate.
I really only get some drips of water in the back corners from the tailgate and that’s because of the tailgate and not having a seal kit on it yet. It’s so minimal I haven’t even bothered with the tailgate seal kit yet.

Cover is finally on! Had to get creative with the weatherstriping but was able to get it on. Huge thanks to @Minarets and @jlarkin1918 for helping me out!!! Now for the pics...

You did help me - helped me to figure out that the “hardware” that I got initially was nothing that was meant for the Tundra with deckrail. Appreciate the help. I think Im good for now. Everything works as intended.

This is the only one I have on hand currently. When I installed I put on a bracket then slid the rail tie to position before putting the next on bracket. So think where you want them before the installation. This was the first thing I put on the truck and got it because it folded out of the way to allow water toys to be loaded, including a canoe and kayak which I tie down with the gate open. Very little water when standing and non when driving down the highway when closed up. Also made here in the states which I always opt for before looking at alternatives. They were extremely helpful before the purchase to order the correct parts.

I don’t have much range now with the cleats but they are still useable. Worth it for me as I love the full fold up capabilities.

Yeah I left my cleats on there too - I need to figure out what I am going to do with the OEM bed divider as that no longer fits. Think I need to sell it and figure out another solution.

Mine used the bed rails, brackets bolted onto bedrail. Not sure how they work without. I think they have the install guides on their website as you can order with or without bedrail (different kits).

I'm looking at the Lomax Stance. During spring and fall hunting season I haul an ATV regularly and need the full length of my bed. I had a Bakflip G2 on my last truck and it wasn't terrible but it wasn't the greatest either. Wanting to try something new.

I had one that had the support arms inside the bed before. If you need the full bed access I prefer this. However, it requires you to get in to the bed which the arms located inside of the bed did not. For me, that isn’t a problem as I don’t use the full bed very often. But when you do, I like the magnetic arms on Lomax. I really do prefer their bed liner finish on the stance. Looks great.

Update: After installing mine, I was still convinced somehow that I got the wrong side rails. contacted Agricover and confirmed that I received side rails for Ram 1500, not Tundra. They owned up to the mistake and shipped correct side rails next day. Installed the whole thing again with the correct side rails and holy crap - so much easier to install now. Added bonus - OEM bed divider fits now, it didn't fit with the Ram 1500 side rails. The divider's attachment to the deck rails have to flipped upside down but still works.

You have full range of motion of your cleats? Or are they still limited?

Newbie here... just got my truck but looking at the Lomax covers. What's the primary difference between the tri-fold and the stance? Looks to be weigh? @Gomting_Jaeger and @Minarets - what finish is yours, the URE? thanks.
