SCS Ray10 wheels 18x9

Just gotta contact SCS directly and they will work with you to get you set up. That's how I got mine. Still quite a wait, but worth it.

Call the custom shop at Michaels Toyota of Bellevue, WA. I just picked up a set of bronze in there a couple of weeks ago. They had at least one set of the Gunmetal in stock. If they still have them shipping may be a bit, just depends on how much and how bad you want them without waiting.

 

It would be pretty boring if we all ran SCS or whatever brand is hot at any given time.

Variety is a good thing.

I looked into them up here in Canada. I think 1 shop sells them and they didn't have the ones I wanted and price was a few hundred more per rim that what I ended up with (I didn't even get into shipping costs). I would have been happy with SCS, but it didn't work out for me. I would have tried harder or waited longer if they had checked all the boxes I wanted in a rim, but they didn't.

 

@SCSPerformance Any idea when you'll have the 18" gunmetal Ray 10s back in stock?

 

If you follow them on Instagram they usually post there first with availability info. That is how I ended up getting mine.

 

Gotcha... keeping an eye on it as well as facebook. Would just be nice to know a timeframe.

 

LOL @matthewtrich was that you who called them today and picked up this set? I just called Michaels Toyota and they said they sold the last set of Gunmetal Ray 10s today.

Heard back from Vuth last night. Due to covid and shipping/manufacturing delays, they don't have an ETA on the Ray 10s at this time.

Looking like SR8s for me, unless anyone seeing this is willing to sell their Ray 10s

 

You may want to hit these guys up. They say they have Ray10s and other models. They're not publicly posting the price so hopefully they're not buying up the orders and then flipping them

 

Ha, its funny, I JUST got an email reply from them. No dice on the Ray 10s - out of stock. The search continues!

Looking for a set for my 2015 Sequoia. Trying for +30 to +40 offset so it seems SCS are basically not an option. I really like the ray10's but I'm pretty set on the higher offset. Do I have any options that I'm overlooking at the moment or am I just out of luck? Have they ever made wheels with at least +30 offset?

 

Pretty sure the only options they have is what's on their website.
Do you want the higher offset to keep the wheels/tires completely inside the fenders?
The difference between the +25 and +30 is almost imperceivable, the difference between +25 and +40 is much more substantial.

One option, although very expensive, would be to have them shaved 10mm or so.
That's assuming they have room for that much shaving.

 

Yeah +40 to me seem to be right on the money as far as not poking out. I don’t mind a bit and my options seem limited so I think a +35 is likely what I’ll end up going with. I thought about shaving as well but couldn’t justify at the moment.

they're not selling them for any more than you'd get off the SCS site. I know the owner and am from Hilo, where Top Notch is. I always just assumed he had a contract with SCS for wheels, but again, that's my assumption. I bought my Ray10's from him after literally no one wanted them for months. lots of guys here go for big/wide rims, not for the more practical/functional style... just preference I guess.

 

Top Notch is an official SCS dealer on the Big Island. We have one dealer on each island only. You wouldn't want to order from them and have it ship back to the continental US. Shipping is expensive in and out of HI.

 

Any word yet?

 

Last communication I had with them was that they were looking at mid-April or beyond for the next shipment...

 

Anyone have a phone number for the guys at SCS? Took my truck in for oil change and tire rotation and my lug key split while they were removing my tires...need to figure out how to get a new one.
