I haven't heard of many biggins here in CO either, not sure what average size is. The one you posted looked like it had a nice coat though.

There's some decent sized blacks out in the San Juan's. Everything out here in the Foot Hills are small, though.

I glassed up this little dink during muley archery near Cameron Peak.

For what it’s worth, Pennsylvania has some of the largest black bears in North America. Almost every year one or two over 700lbs is killed. Just wish we could say the same for our whitetails!

Not bad at all, except wife still working ,and drives her nuts when I just kiss her goodbye, makes me feel a little guilty, for a few minutes anyway , then I'm ok. 1rst winter retired is a little borig now that hunting season over , so just working on fishing stuff ,and truck, and looking up resorts for this spring. HAVE FUN , NOW IT FEELS WORTH IT. JUST GETTING HERE WAS TUFF.

(Yes I know it is slightly inhumane using a .22)Was taking a nice morning oklahoma side by side ride in one of our pastures, and a group of hogs start running balls the walls to the nearest thicket. I felt really badass chasing down these hogs while shooting my new pever action .22 at them. I shot this hog a couple times and had to track him about 400 yards into a thicket while all the other pigs were nearby (kinda scary being in a oklahoma thicket with nothing but a .22 lever action surrounded by pissed hogs). Tiny pig, big taste! And no I did not intend to look like theres a stick in my ass for the pic

Harvested a few hogs in Central Texas last weekend. Return trip home was delayed 5 days due to ice/snow in Houston.

No further south in the desert, not many Javelina in the Gila forest. I was near the small town of Deming if you are familiar with NM

    Oh sweet! Where in NM?
No it was a draw hunt. The "prime" units (19, 23-27) for Javelina are part of the draw and the rest of the State falls under the OTC tags.
