You're obviously not driving fast and hard enough. Tundra's need to be stimulated by releasing their V/8 stomping wishes upon the world, and will reward you kindly with smiles, and even mores smiles if you refuse to look at the little screen that tells you MPG'S. :)

I know it's been said numerous times before in this thread but no under or behind seat storage!! My tacoma had both under and behind and it was a smaller cab! I know I said before I was going to wait to cut into the floor of my <1k mile truck to add the storage but once it gets warmer, I'm doing it. When I bought it I didn't know anything about the lack of storage, I never put my ratchet straps in because I didn't know where to put them and figured I'd find a place for them later on. Bought a freezer last weekend, got it loaded up in my truck and then realized I didn't have my damn straps. So I had to buy more and I already had plenty of them at home!! So the esp storage is going in now.

I was in a similar position of not wanting to cut into the floor of my new truck so I had a couple of swing cases installed. Perfect for ratchet straps and such.

And you should be. I didn't explain that well if you are unfamiliar with a Ridgeline. I also like that the tailgate opens both ways. That is an old idea and station wagons from the 1960's had that feature.

This is the thread for what you hate about your third gen, not what you hope the 2022 gets. That thread is in the fourth gen section.

But I agree that those are both great features Toyota could add if they're not patented by Honda.

Thx. Just reading this. My recent fill-ups have been with old cap just to avoid risk of inconvenience. Today, I went with same locking cap that gave me a problem before. We'll see how it works tomorrow, since it took a day or so for the light to come on last time. Thx for the tip and I'll look into it - and maybe go that route if I need to.

so, are you saying your locking cap is causing your engine light to come on like mine?

I’d like to see the bottom of rear seats have storage incorporated

I hate that the steering wheel volume if left and right while the track is up and down lol.

And I'm extremely grateful that something so minor/petty is my only complaint so far.

IMO, The whole assembly should be on the right side vs left as well. Just sayin.

The steering wheel mounted stereo controls. 1 year in, and I still don't have the hang of them.

They are so counter intuitive. The UP arrow should turn the volume up. The down arrow should turn the volume down. The Right Arrow should advance the radio station "up" the dial - to the right. The LEFT Arrow should advance the radio station "down" the dial - to the left.

Instead, the UP arrow, moves the radio station DOWN the dial (left on an old analog radio dial). HTF does that make any sense.

If any of the aftermarket tuning tools let you reprogram those buttons, I'm in.

Truth is, there isn't a damn thing wrong with having them on the head unit. Now it is just about more crap for more money! More crap to fail, means more crap to fix, more profits for them, more headaches for me. Please take me back to when cars were steel and phones were at the house! I don't need or want an aluminum driveshaft or a phone ringing with my trucks!

A thing I am struggling with is Toyota swapped the answer/hang up on the steering column from gen 2 to gen 3. I am constantly hanging up on people. Haha. That said....I’m not irritated by it.
