What’s the best and brightest LED light bar to fit down inside bumper area? Looking for size, brand, and install instructions. Thanks!

How much do you want to spend? I got one for $150 and it lasted a month before it filled with condensation. Have had this 42 inch rough country for a couple years with no problems. Bright as hell. This one was $400. Install is easy. Takes 30-45 minutes

Looks great! I’m looking into the Caliraised or some brand of 32” for under the bumper inset area. Want the brightest and best quality fir that fit. Read great reviews of your RC 42 bar.

I can’t help with what size would fit the best in that area. But I highly recommend you check out Black Oak Led. It’s a smaller
family/Vet owned company out of Florida. I’m not affiliated with them in any way, I’ve just had fantastic experiences with their customer service and quality of their lights. They throw ridiculous amounts of light. You won’t be disappointed.

I have the RC light that fits in the spot you are looking at (hint hint). Just bought a brand new harness for it so I can sell it. Came out of my truck after 2 months because I bought the RC front bumper that had a light in it.

Eyourlife from eBay going on 8 years now no issues was on my Tacoma for two years before the tundra. The relay harness it came with started to corrode at the connectors so I had to cut them off off and add new ones after 8 years also a ch4x4 switch both light bars are on the same relay harness and switch no issues. For the lower bumper I had to drill a lower hole in the foot brackets they all come with them drill them straight into the aluminum crash bar behind the bumper lined up perfect super easy and fast install took me 45 min to pull the center valance off drill the holes and tap the two bars together since the relay harness was already ran for the grill light bar.

Step 8, “Patience will be required for this step.” That is a massive understatement lol. But those instructions are about the best I’ve seen and pretty much how I ended up hacking my way through my own install.

You don’t even have to remove the bumper to install just remove the center valance there’s a couple plastic clips that connect to the bumper ends that ended up breaking but it’s held in by multiple bolts and screws so really those clips don’t do much for support if you don’t mind that. I tried a flat head screwdriver carefully and got like two the rest just snapped very easily so I completely left the ones I saved out and didn’t by replacements. if that bothers you then remove the whole bumper. I did it this way for ease of accessing later on if there’s issues with the light bar or if I want to remove or replace it. there’s a YouTube video online I can find if anyone wants to try this route.

edit: that baja designs instruction link is perfect like everyone said to be patient with the plastic clips if they break no big deal it won’t affect anything.mine installed back like factory not loose anywhere.
