I did search around the DIY threads and no one mentions it or I didn’t see an answer.

So my question is, when cutting the leather to install the rear seat belt, where should I cut?

It’s on a seam and the plastic “buckle” that the belt runs through has a screw that will need to go through the seam also.

Is it ok to cut a slot along the seam, push the seat through and screw it down through the seam to will that mess the seat up?

Sorry guys, just nervous about cutting this one spot. IMG_9686.jpg

Are these Katzkin covers I don't remember having to cut for a seat belt. I did have to cut for the headrests I used a hammer to tap on the leather and the metal behind it would cut a perfect hole.

There is one screw that holds the plastic cover on. Install that screw in its hole and thread half way down. Take notice of two small rectangular slots at the rear of the seat. Pull your leather cover into place and feel for the screw, you can cut a dime sized hole around the screw but try not to cut the threads in the seam. You can now orient where the two rectangular cut outs are. Cut around them just big enough so as to see them. If the seam is in the area that needs to be cut then go ahead and cut it in the center of the seat belt area and you can put dabs of super glue on the thread ends. It will never come apart. Hope this helps.
