I seem to have front lost my grill Toyota emblem. Noticed whilst taking a snow pic.

Replacements are only available in chrome it would seem, I had painted mine red. Any other emblem options available?

Also thinking of maybe going new grill action since my 22 layers of plasti-dip have begun to recede. Maybe something like this, which requires some decent modding and fabbing. Also one of my grill mounting tabs is broken and the grill rattles when closing the hood.

Those are cool. About a C-note is a little spicy for an emblem replacement. Like the modern Tundra "T" emblem.

You can buy just about any Emblem online for a custom look. This one is a Genuine Toyota ‘Tercel’ stick on. It has a slanted face which couldn’t be seen on the website pics. Works out well for $20 for the Emblem.

The Grill was around $150 a few years ago iirc. It is a High Quality Made in USA piece. The gloss powder coat is holding well. Does require some craftsmanship to install.

Don't let a kid out smart you.
I have a spare stock emblem if you want it. But I'm not sure if the one on the 05's fit yours. If you want it its free if you pay shipping

I too was going to replace my grille with an insert. After watching how ‘easy’ it was, I opted to keep looking. I finally found a few guys that had updated their grille to the news style with only slight modifications.

    I bought this grille here:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/EAG-Fit-fo...od-Grille-Black-Stainless-Steel-/284126634674

    This emblem:

Cut this piece with a dremel in five minutes:

    And went from this:

    To this:

Other than dremel work and using longer bolts for the catch handle, it’s a direct fit. Install only took a little over an hour and I was milking it.

I do have a broken tab on the grille, I should just replace the whole shootin' match. The 03 and up option is intriguing.

You know what they say, give the laziest man on the crew the hardest job and he will find the easiest way to do it.

I watched a YouTube video of them cutting up, sanding, trimming, fitting and glueing an insert in on a first Gen and I thought there is no way in hell I was going to invest that much energy in a grille lol. So I found an alternative and it works great.
