2018, BBP Platinum. I have tons of mods sitting in my living room from @SparksParts but it's so damn cold here in Michigan i can't stand outside long enough to do anything yet. Ahh!

I've had two 2008s over the past 10 or so years, so this is my 3rd.

Any recomendations on wheels that will give me offset enough to be flush with the OE style fender flares? I love the TRD black rims but don't think they stick out that far. I've been told it needs a 20+ offset.

Thanks and glad to be part of the group!

Thanks! I had to edit my original comment. I've had two different Limited Crewmax's 2008's, bought and sold over the years. One Blue Streak and the other one was silver. Just wanted to get something newer.

Truvk is great so far, but man that stereo sucks over my 2008's that you could have a block away. Wth happened there? Lol

Welcome from Rhode Island, I wish Toyota still produced that color, that's my favorite color. I have a 2020 and chose MGM, but really wish it was Blazing Blue

Yep. The stereos have gone to hell. Bet you noticed the new one isn’t as fast either.

Thays actually the main reason I went with 2018, last year for that blue and it had a couple safety related additions. I like the voodoo blue on 2019 on up, but I'm way too old to be that flashy. Lol

I haven't had a chance to really get on it much because if the crappy roads, but hoping it still has some giddy-up. One thing I did notice is that the gas pedal is a little more loose? I used to have issues with the truck really jerking when first taking off, but now it's more a gradual take off.

Yep. They re-geared them or something. My 2011 will smoke the others off the line.

And that's why I didn't choose the Voodoo Blue, way too old to be driving a flashy color like that, although the Calvary Blue would have been ok, if I could have found one.

Yeah, I had a hell of a time finding one of these. I had all of the major vehicle site apps, saved searches with alerts, etc. This was one of only about 6 left on those in this configuration. A lot of those had higher miles or was too far away too. I was going to wait a couple years to save up, but the used market in general is insane right now. Every decent vehicle that didn't have 200k miles on it was snagged up in minutes on FB marketplace. After 3 or 4 months of no vehicle (thankfully, i work from home), I just said screw it. Timing was good a month or so ago when I was back and forth with the dealer because there is very little out there now.
