Do any of you guys could tell me if these XSs come with the 38 or the 26 gal gas tank?

    TIA

One comment said the 38 was available with a SX in Canada. Mine in the USA came with the 26 gal.

I believe the stock USA SX comes with the 26.

I have the 38 Gal tank in my XSP. However there was another 20’ XSP on the lot and it had a 26 gal tank. My sticker has no mention of a 38 gal tank added. Is it because I have a 4WD ? I’m puzzled now.

XSP is a different package than SX.

Don't forget to take that dealer sticker off the tailgate and get another plate frame.
Unless they are paying you for advertising for them, which I doubt....

Standard SR5 comes with 38, with the SX package they delete that and give you 26. That is the only thing I was disappointed with.
Trade off is worth it though. I got a solid rear window and alloy wheels, plus can still get 300+ miles out of a tank full without even trying. Works for me.

I had the dealer take off the SX stickers before I drove it off the lot. I've never had a blacked out truck before so I felt like that sticker had to go. I love the look and super happy with this being my first Tundra.IMG_20200915_184042.jpg

Standard SR5 comes with 26 gal tank. 38 gal is always part of an upgrade package. They would never remove a 38 gal tank and give you a 26 as part of a special package.

I’m waiting for a new license plate from the state . so yes the frame will be replaced. Just keeping it on with the temporary tag. Dealer sticker removed a few days ago.

Yeah the SX package is replaced with the smaller 26 gallon tank. Its the only thing I don't like about it but oh well.

Thanks man. It is the 3"/2" ReadyLift kit and 275/70R18 Kenda Klever RT tires. I really wanted to keep the stock wheels since they are a part of the SX package but I really found out how much they limit you when trying to shop for tires. The +60 offset doesnt allow for many options and budget kept me from changing those out right away. I figure I'll wait till these tires wear out and replace everything. Either 295/70R18 or 285/75R18s.... I love the Kenda tires overall but the size I was stuck with does look small with the extra wheel well space.

I bought my current daily driver, a black 1993 Toyota pick up, new back in 1993. The first thing I did was remove the large "swish" decals that ran down both sides of the truck. If I had left them on, they would be a faded/degraded mess today.

So in March of 2020, I bought a brand new Black Tundra Crewmax...Yay!!!
The first thing I did was remove the SX stickers. They were easy to remove once you lift an edge of the decal with your finger nail. Since it was cold outside, it did require a little heat from a hair dryer and Goof Off to remove what little adhesive remained on the painted surface.

I removed the stickers for two reasons.
    1. I personally didn't like them.
    2. See paragraph 1. I plan to keep this thing a looong time.

My SX also came with a 26 gallon fuel cell.

I do like the blacked out truck alot, just not the decals.

    Thanks, that's what I thought.

When you say solid rear window you mean that it doesn't roll down? or just that it doesn't have the DC small window?

Also, is your shifter in the steering column or on the floor?

    TIA

“Delete” is just a term the factory uses.
I.e. Tundra come with a 40/20/40 front bench and column shifter. The SR5 package deletes that and gives you buckets, center console and floor shifter.
The SX has the SR5 options minus the 38 gallon tank.
The SX has a solid rear glass instead for the SR5 DC small sliding window.

Correct. The SX is based on the SR5 which comes with the 26 gal tank. The 38 gal tank is part of a different package (SR 5 Upgrade which is part of the TRD package).

I guess I’m missing something here. Definitely want to understand it.
Was at Toyota today and saw a crew max 4x4, not TRD (at least no decals on the bed) I thought it was the same SR5 upgrade.

Correct, that is what I said in my previous post. The 38 gal tank is part of the SR5 Upgrade package. The TRD package is a separate upgrade package, but has the SR5 Upgrade as a requirement.
So you can get a SR5 with a 26 gal tank. Then you can have a SR5 with the Upgrade package which will have a 38 gal tank. When you pick the TRD package it will have the 38 gal tank because it will have the SR5 Upgrade as part of the TRD Upgrade.
Back to the SX package; it is not a TRD and it is not necessarily an Upgrades SR5, so it will have the 26 gal tank, but technically you could get the SX package, and then add the SR5 Upgrade package to get the 38 gal tank, in which case you will have a SX with a 38 gal tank, but it is not a given.

Removed the XSP logo on the rear of the truck. Used a heat gun set on low and a plastic razor blade. Just heated up the sticker some and used the blade to peel off. Some of the glue was still left so I used Isopropyl alcohol and a soft micro fiber towel to wipe access glue. 1/2 hour task to remove both sides

My 2019 SX did not have stickers, thankfully. I don’t understand why toyota put stickers on the truck, wasn’t that the idea no emblems? I do wish I had a 38 gallon tank.

Same here, I was so pissed when I saw a 2020 SX after buying my 2019 SX and saw they added SX decals, I mean really what market research did they do? Ok it's debaged, no chrome smooth looking single color.....let's add a damn sticker to it.....but I was happy that they added the SX package to the CrewMax...only I can't find one anywhere near me.

In my case I am actually looking to put this sticker back on. I had a minor accident and the sticker had to be taken off during repair. Since mine is a lease, I need to return it with the sticker ON. The body shop is unable to locate one
