So you bought an entire column? Have you compared columns? I was just going to buy the column shift assembly and attempt to swap it that way.

I haven't had the time to pull my Dash apart to see what plugs are available.

What I would say for you to see if it's possible for you. You'll need to check under your seat to see what wires are available for hooking up the console shifter.

My console is still out so I can take a few photos tomorrow for you. There's 2 for the shifter and one accessory power. You should have the accessory power but it's the other two that might be either tucked away under the carpet, or I would say probably wrapped up behind the lowest panel over your hump where the ECU is located as that's an open panel for me right now.

My hold up was finding a shifter cable. I'm not entirely sure where it hooks up on the drive shaft of the column shift, and the online junk yard don't stock or salvage that part so I've just not bit the bullet on a factory one for like $250.

I still need to pull apart my Dash and see if theres a matching plug for the column electronics.

Would appreciate the pics. Sounds like it would be easiest to find another owner who wants to do the reverse and swap all the parts.

Curious to know where you found your center seat. I’ve been trying to find one of the folding passenger seats from a single cab.

Also which part of Mississippi are you in?

I am also curious to see if this works out. I have a 2012 Crewmax with bench and console that I would like to swap out for the bench and column shift. I would be glad to swap with someone. Thanks

I've got a 2020 SR and after seeing the leaked pictures of the new Tundra, I'm seriously considering buying a 2021 Pro. My only hold up is that I have 4 boys and need the bench seat. I'm thinking I could buy the Pro and swap everything over.

Has anyone actually accomplished this swap?

Don't think so. There are a few on here (OP included) who got to a certain point and apparently threw in the towel. I wish my truck had a 6th seat, too.

If I were you, I’d add the 38-gal tank and whatever features from the Pro you really want to your SR. BBS wheels, TRD Fox suspension, black badges, LEDs, exhaust, etc. You could do Katzkin leather with heaters and coolers. Even a hood scoop can be found and color matched. The only thing you can’t swap is the bed stamp. Actually if you could find a wrecked Pro and take the bed, you could color match it. :notsure:

The 38 gallon tank is a huge perk, but the real problem is I am in love with Lunar Rock. My neighbor just got a new 4Runner Pro in Lunar Rock and it is beautiful!

Maybe this would be possible with a complete donor truck with the same options? I'm guessing you would need to swap much of the dash harness.

The complete donor truck route is what is what is was thinking, but swapping an entire dash harness sounds a bit complicated for me...
