    well... quick summary of how i got here: I had always been a Ford guy, my pops was a Ford guy. My last truck was an F150 that i bought new and drove for 13 years. Loved that truck but had to put her down. So there I was, in the market for another Ford. I had always liked Toyotas and said if I got anything other than a Ford, it would be a Toyota. Whatever it may be, I needed a truck pronto, as I had been borrowing vehicles to get to work. Can't carry many tools on a hardtail chopper. So, in my urgent search, I came across this first gen tundra, pretty low miles (for a toyota), looked clean, and for a decent price, and not too far from my house. Bought it the next day. Stoked everyday since then, which was actually exactly 10 months ago today. I've done quite a bit of work to it in a short time and plan on doing a bunch more so I may start a build thread. Idk. Pic is actually from the sale ad, and how it was as it became mine. Pretty sure it was 100% stock.IMG_0017.jpg

    I was trying to add them to the original post thru edit but couldn’t figure out how to place them where I wanted within the post. For comparison from purchase to now;

    Nicely done on the Fab Work to keep those Sweet OEM Fog Lights in place. I think yours is the first I’ve seen done this way.

    Well this one is expanded steel. Not sure if you're familiar, but think; heavy and strong but wide open. You can see right thru it. That's why I changed it. It also had bolts, but only needed a few, and I hid them. Lost that badge to a gawd damn drive-thru carwash. The current one is perforated aluminum sheet. It's more of a visual screen, but much more flimsy, so it took alot more bolts to make it feel solid. The bolts were also part of the design so I never thought about hiding them. I've still got a large piece of the aluminum stuff, so I may do it over again without the bolts showing. I'll get you a pic tomorrow.
