When I bought my truck the old owner had an n-fab bumper that was replaced with an OEM bumper. Didn't have OEM fogs but the previous owner threw in rigid-esque led fogs lights such as these:

Finally coming around to installing and stumped with the wiring. Firstly the fog lights don't have a typical two-prong connector (actually no connector at all) rather 3 wires labeled white, amber, ground, and an aftermarket fog light switch. Does anyone know if, and if so, how these lights can be installed on a 3rd gen?

You’ll probably need a wiring harness to wire those up properly, since the white and amber would be two separate triggers. You could just use an H11 adapter and splice both white and amber to the hot and the other to the ground. Another question, though, is how these pods will fit with an OEM bumper. And I assume you know that these lights probably aren’t rated as fogs for on-road use. You’d need something SAE compliant with the correct cutoff.

Pics of what you have for wiring will help. As far as an adapter, we will know once we see what you have. I don't know about the 2017, but on my 2020, I had to use an H16. The H11 would not work.

Like they said, see if you have factory wiring and get the adapter. That’ll be the easiest way to hook them up. But it sounds like the connector was cut off.

For the wires, white should be the power and amber the backlighting. If you don’t want backlighting then just ignore that wire. Easiest way to test it is just hold the wires directly to the battery and see what they do. Just don’t hold them too long. Don’t forget a fuse when you do install it.

I'm a 2nd Gen, but you could probably do the same as I did. The square foglights that came with my Hooke Road bumpers are 2 conductor and so is the OEM wiring that goes to the stalk switch on the steering column. I cut off the OEM connectors that led to the OEM foglights and I used these for the ends of the truck wiring and wires on the new foglights.

I would suspect the 3rd gen Tundras also have a 2 conductor cable to the foglights so you can use the same. If for some reason they are 3 conductor you can use these instead:

I agree with him^^^. I wouldn’t mess with someone else’s wiring. Rigid sells harnesses for not much money. Not worth the headache...

Thanks for the responses, everyone. Looking more into these are starting to look more like roof/hood light pods rather than fog lights, even though they came with plates for the fogs lights in the form bumper.

Found the wiring diagram in the box:

Harness, or harnesses based on the diagram, does anyone know if this can be wrong on a single harness switch?

You could wire both to a single harness/switch, but you wouldn't be able to control the side/amber lights separate from the forward/white lights.
