Some things could've been corrected by getting a higher model, but here are gripes:

Only auto down on driver's window, but no auto up at all? It was 2020 wasn't it?
No standard blind spot monitoring? It's an ancient truck, the least is to add blind spot with it costing $40k+.
You have LED headlights and foglights, but the tail lights are a bland halogen?
Lastly, when any window is opened and not all the way down, they vibrate and make clicking sounds as if the window is loose.

My 2020 has the 3-blink press, I actually changed it to a 6-blink press in the settings.

Is that something you can do yourself or do you need the dealer to do it?

I got one of those "Carista" dongles that plug into the OBD port. I also turned off the passenger seat belt chime, cause my dog would always set it off, and a few other settings I can't remember right now. A lot of the features on it require a "premium subscription", but it comes with like 14 days free. So I just made sure to mess with all of the settings while I had the free trial - they all stay as selected once the trial expires.

The JBL system , tailgate should lock / unlock with a switch or via the fob and in general Toyota has zero imagination with wheel style.

I would have to say the one thing this truck should have is auto headlights. My 2003 Sienna had auto headlights. It’s petty I know...but the fact the headlights don’t turn off automatically when the truck is shut off is something I wish I could change.

Mine is the pedal input. I need a pedal commander to be rolling that 2nd gen throttle response. And not having some kind of organizer for the black hole that is my console

Locking cap on mine and I have a scan Guage installed to monitor trans temps, just so happens that I can turn off the light and clear codes with the push of a couple buttons on the scan gauge II. Not a great solution but it works.

our catalytic converters are so valuable.

human scum w/ sticky fingers are attracted to my catalytic converters.

other than that, there is nothing irritating about my 19. in fact, it brings me great pleasure every time i look at it, drive it, wash it, or perform routine maintenance.

Headlights are not that great on my year when outside the city and I would really like a handle on my driver's side.

I’ve been using over 6 months. No issues or check engine light. Make sure to give a few more click turns when tightening.

Hold down the volume button will power cycle the radio so you don’t have to shut the truck off. At least that’s how it is on the 2020 with the updated deck.

They're definitely supported. I've got one and made a few changes to my 2020 Tundra (went from 3 to 7 lane change blinks; quieted the door dings; and some other stuff).

    Yep.

And coming from a 2013 F150....this right here is why I will never call the stock radio "crap." Not only did the 'media system' screw up one HELL of a lot more in that truck, but to reset it you had to literally either

    - pull the negative battery terminal and wait 10 minutes
    - OR (after they updated firmware) wait for it to unfreeze, and then do a "Master Reset."

Freaking worst media system ever. (For those of you who had an F150 with the 4.2" screen, you know what I'm talking about.)

I like how almost everything in this thread can be upgraded by aftermarket parts that will not cause major issues with everything else via the computer. Very sad & satisficing at the same time. I own two Germen cars & I have to be very careful anytime I want to make any modifications. Careful always equates to "very expensive".

That said, my #1 complaint is simply the transmission. It is by far the most irritating. It is way too outdated & I guarantee the truck would get a couple more MPG's if they had 1 or two more gears. Now that I have almost everything else mentioned (that matters to me) already fixed with aftermarket parts, I love the Truck. I only need one more thing & that's a supercharger. :) It has been a very difficult decision. Still debating doing the Harrop.

This is really simple, if you can afford it, do it. I plan to once someone has tunes available for a ‘21.
