I just ordered a Spyder Headlight Kit. Was wondering if anyone had experience with the installation? It looks pretty straight forward but it didn’t come with installation instructions. My primary hesitation is with tapping or splicing power for the halo daytime running light, not sure where I should tap. Also definitely want to use my LED high and low beams that I used on the stock lights. I’m afraid they may not fit because the new headlights call for H11 and HB3.

    Thanks!!

You will have to get new led bulbs !! No interchanging them
As far as the halos does your rig have drl’s now ? If so you can just T tap into that wire in the harness
I would strongly suggest using T taps for all the connections. They are much better than the older style connectors
    Just my opinion

I currently have the 2007 Limited. Not sure if the yellow turn signals would be considered “Daytime” running lights. Purchased switchback DRL LED turn signals error free. But I’ll have to order LED Replacements for high and low beam. Kinda sucks but I’ve come this far don’t want to half ass the upgrade. Can’t stand halogen bulbs anymore, one you go LED or HID. Lmao . On the housing it calls for HB3 and H11. Amazon is my go to for my LED bulbs that I be been replacing on All my vehicles.

I have had really good success with cougar led’s. They have a easy plug and play set and work very nicely and there price point is spot on
