Have not read the rest of your build thread yet but after reading this I suggest you name the truck "Jessi"....as in Jessi Combs- she was a total badass!

One of the few rigs I've found with the ARB bumper and suspension on it. Looks absolutely killer.
Question, how does the ride or handling change with the heavy weight on the front end? Noticable effects? And how well does the OME heavy coil kit ride? I've been eagerly trying to find user experience with that combo beyond "rides fine" lol

I can answer this well because I installed the ARB first and installed the OME heavies a week or two later. With out the heavy springs, there was a noticeable droop while braking, and it kind of felt like a Cadillac ride since there was so much weight up there. After putting on the OME's, it felt exactly how it did with the stock bumper and the 5100's on there. Slightly better than a stock truck. So basically, "rides fine" lol

You probably have noticed by now that the tailgate bows outwards, with the center sticking out the furthest. My previous bumper had a long metal flange that went across the top of the bumper with a gap in the middle to allow access to the spare tire. It looked good that the gaps were smaller but as you can see my tailgate was constantly scraping the flange. Just something to consider before you stick something in there.

Dingo's kennel got a slight upgrade today... :D

    A.R.E. MX shell is ON!

I de-badged it after taking these pictures, don't worry.

The PCS errors came back after putting the topper on. Luckily I have airbags on order to bring the rear end back up to 42" which should adjust the angle back down.

Need to add a new leaf pack to the list...

Looks awesome! Giving me some Sequoia vibes from the front 3/4 view. He looks pretty happy with that mod.

Installed the SDHQ battery terminal kit and did some wire management. Should have taken a before pic, but this looks so much better. Will be upgrading to a Northstar soon.

Also finally riveted the snorkel upper mount plate to the truck. I had used double sided foam tape before, but it came off pretty quick. Went with Cherrymax rivets instead of the dollar store pop rivets included in the kit. P/N CR3213-6-3 worked perfectly.

Can't wait for the Snorkel Upgrade prefilter to arrive!

Looks amazing. After tires the ARB bumper is going to be my next big purchase. Absolutely perfect. Thanks for sharing. Does one need a special tool for Cherrymax rivets? Can you share info on the snorkel prefilter? I've also been very interested in putting the Dobinson's kit on.

For the cherries you need a rivet gun just like you need for the rivets that come with the kit. I used this $11 one from Harbor Freight: I ordered the same prefilter that @WVTRDPRO has on his which I found in this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/new-dobinsons-snorkel-for-2014-2020-tundra-5-7l.69721/page-2

And I ordered it from here, it's currently on sale: https://snorkelupgrade.com/collecti...or-v8s-and-diesel-engines-3-5-inch-inlet-size

@Occidentalis Got the precleaner put on today.

Also Firestone airbags to level the rear back out. Yay to no more TSS issues again!

Did you buy a 100 pack of the cherrymax rivets or buy them somewhere locally? If you bought a big pack, want to sell me like, a dozen? If locally, where? The smallest quantity I see in my quick search is 50. I'm sure fastenal would have something but I like these aerospace rivets.

I'm an aircraft mechanic and I... borrowed... a few from work =D I'd send you some but we only had a few in stock.

50 packs are the standard which are usually like $30. I found this site that sells them individually: http://spenceraircraft.com/cr3213-6-3-cherry-max-rivet.html

Oh, also if you have an Aviall around you, I'm sure you could purchase them individually. They are usually only in big cities though.

the more i look at your build the more i fall in-love with the summit.

Do you mind taking a picture of inner tire well toward the bumper? i need to see how much of the inner fender was removed.

The only part removed of the fender is that trimmed plastic piece, which is in the instructions, and you can see cut out in that picture you quoted. Maybe some inner fender pieces, but you never see them anyway.

If you like it at all, just do it. You won't regret it.

Got the Victory 4x4 roof rack on. The build quality is really good, however the mounting system is absolute garbage. I will be replacing the rivnuts with actual nuts eventually, I need to take my headliner out anyway to sound deaden the roof. Also I am concerned about the coating, it appears to be a very soft powdercoat. Besides that, I love how it looks!

Almost 100% because of the windoors. Leers have them too, but I am not a fan of their layout.

For example, this is a Leer:

Looks badass with the rack! I like that it lines right up with the bump on your cap. Def agree with the finish. I just got a Victory 4x4 bed rack and the finish already chipped in a few spots. I'm gonna throw some POR15 on it to prevent rust. Quality otherwise is great.
