Wasn't sure where to post this....so I'll drop it here.

I'm an avid motorcyclist and ride almost year around, excluding snow and icy weather; although, I've been caught in a snow storm on my way back home. So, I have heated gear (heated seat, heated grips, heated jacket, heated pants, and heated gloves). The gear gets warm almost instantly. One piece of gear I have is a heated jacket liner.

So now my question, with the cold temps of late and ice and snow, I'm driving the truck and would like to use my jacket liner until my truck warms up.

Can anyone tell me how many amps can I draw through the accessory plug in the dash (2016 Tundra) where I currently have a dual usb charger/adapter plugged in now?

The heated jacket liner draws a max of 6.4 amps.

Here is the adapter I plan on using (assuming too that it is the correct size for the outlet)

I won't be using a heat controller like I do on my bike to turn the heat up and down. I'll just unplug it when I get warmed up or the truck is warmed up.

Warm & Safe didn't exist when I first got my Gerbings gear (Gerbings in now Gyde) but I've read and heard that their gear is superior.

    ANOTHER Option:
I may just power the liner from my Microstart AntiGravity Battery

I just tried the AntiGravity battery. It works great, max output for the plug needed is 10amps. The one caveat is that it only stays on for 1 minute, then shuts itself off. I found this to be the same when trying to charge my cell phone on long rides with it.

    1 or 2... I lost count
Most of the outlets should have a maximum wattage stamped into their cover. I think all of my accessory plugs are fused at 10 amps but I also think there are at least 2 separate circuits which would be 20amps total.
