    Hi everyone,
So I picked up our new 2021 Forest River 26MBRR from Cheyenne Campers in Walcott IA this morning.
We currently in North Platte making our way to Denver and need some recommendations on tires
The tires i have on now are great as long as there is no snow on the ground. This morning scared the crap out of me and the wife and will be replacing them right away. I understand I won't be towing this thing in the snow very much but I want to make sure I'm better equiped just in case
I'm also curious to see what everyone has done about the bouncy ride. It's not all the time but there are some large stretches of road where the whole truck just bounces.

    I appreciate the info IMG_20210213_174033.jpg IMG_20210213_174014.jpg

Is there a tire that will make towing that thing in the snow safe?

Not completely safe but I'm sure there's a better/safer tire out there than what comes from the factory.

Congrats on the new trailer! I like the BFG All Terrain KO2 tires for winters here in Utah. Throwing on some Firestone ride rite air bags will help with the tongue weight and will likely help with bouncyness. That being said, that is a huge trailer to pull behind a Tundra so be safe.

I've always liked the BFG KO's I had them on my old Ranger. In regards to the bags those will happen soon I wasn't sure if they would help with the bounce but I guess I'll find out soon enough. I'm well within specs with the trailer weight a little longer than I wanted but I needed the room to fit my ATV's appreciate your input

Air bags will help the ride quality as the more sagged out your rear suspension is the less it can work to soak up bumps and such. If you still have bounce issues after bags are installed look at some firmer rear shocks. Going with firmer shocks will make your Tundra rider firmer unloaded so keep that in mind.

Just curious, did you weigh your truck with a full tank of gas and you sitting in it before you bought that toy hauler?

OP needs to weigh the trailer with his Atv’s inside. If 2 quads are behind the trailer axle, it may actually reduce tongue slightly

Question...does that TT have 2 access doors? One forward and 1 rear? Also does it have a bump pout on the drivers side of the TT

Yes it has two access doors on to the main living area and the other to the bedroom. I'm not sure what a bump pout is?

That trailer looks really really big, the specs are surprisingly lightweight compared to how long it looks

What is the payload number on your driver’s door jamb? Between your WDH, passengers, gear and tongue weight I don’t see anyway you’ll be able to keep it within the payload capacity. That bouncing you feel going down the road is your truck trying to tap out...
