Thanks for the reply, but what i am looking for more specifically are items such as trans temp, miles to next oil change etc.

Toyota recommends oil change every 10k miles 2017 v8s, 5k miles on the flex 5.7. Most feel better changing oil every 5k.

Any maintenance light or timer in the vehicle will be based on the last time it was reset, and it is just a simple mileage counter. You would be better served keeping your own record on when maintenance is completed and just change the oil every 5-6k miles.

I do not think there is anything that shows trans temps stock, but you can get OBD2 readers that can be set up to display items like that. It has been discussed here- so you will need to search "monitor trans temp" or "OBD2 readers", etc.

Thanks for the help, I have an OBD2 reader and will hook it up and see what I get.
