    Hello all,

I am new here and have been trying my best to locate information with regards to Supercharging a Sequoia. Most forums are Tundra specific and not 100% confident that what applies to a Tundra also applies to a Sequoia.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to get some of my questions answered?

I'm also in CA and am hoping that I can successfully upgrade and pass emission inspection and test at any smog check location. I've read other tundra forums where people have passed with a bullydog tuner left on and emission were lower than that with stock.

I did go to the dealer and had them check if my ECU had the TRD supercharger re-flash option it did not.

I have some of the TRD supercharger parts already.

I know im missing the following:
    Serpentine belt
Pulley (although ive read that getting the smaller pulley may not be necessary)
Pulley bracket - may be called something else
Fuel injectors - I have 5 total 1 looks beat, may just need 4
    Oil cooler lines -
Fuel pump ( ive also read these are high output)

The images below are the parts i currently have.

The only help i can give you is... the 3UR-FE engine has been used across multiple toyota platforms and is still currently being used.
I would "assume" that any supercharging questing you have regarding your sequoia, any tundra supercharging forum can answer them because it's the same platform.
Good luck, hope you find answers. We took the alternative route and just upgraded to an OVTune with ours.

@yeeyo thanks for the info. I was able to find Sequoia TRD install instructions through a link I found in the Tundra forums. That also lead me to a company superchargersonline.com that sells the replacement parts for magnusun. Using the install instructions I found most of the necessary hardware. There are some misc bolts and hoses that im confident in can locate. Next I'll be completing my smog check, its due next month, so Ill at least have some time before going through the smog check process with the TRD supercharger installed. This will give me time to get all the stickers and decals, although i read its not needed. I printed the CA code that list the sequoia and the TRD SC as permissible as well. I called around a few toyota dealers, found a rep at Tustin Toyota of SoOC who spoke to the shop foreman and said they can reflash my ECU. I'll be taking it in prior to the install, to make sure they can reflash it, towing back to la casa, and getting the job done myself. Knocking on wood it works out, gonna be a sleeper for sure.

Update for anyone who is having trouble. I ended up going to Tustin Toyota and the shop foreman confirmed they had the ECU reflash available. The bad part about it is i only wanted them to confirm if they had the reflash data available and not to actually reflash my ecu as i had to gather additional parts. Needless to say after dropping off my SUV i get a call from them. The first question they asked is when i was planning to do the upgrade, i said in a few weeks once i source parts. He said i have good news we were able to reflash your ECU. It worked out in the end as i was able to source parts, i ended up having a short, forget where, but I've had the SC installed for a few months now with no issues so far and the HP gains are night an day from stock. They were also able to get me both the SC carb sticker and the intake carb stickers. Luckily my smog check isnt due for two years and am hoping no issues arrise from that part. I was able to source most parts but had to use the home depot engeneering for some of the brackets.
