Just finished my bumper shims install, prepping for lift and bigger tires.
Measured bumper gap before and after to find it was off from factory already. After putting shims in lines up with the same factory gap. I think I will be ordering the +2 shackle next to pair with bilstein 6112 at 2.5
    Thank you @Coachbuilder1

Just got my shackles today. Pictures don’t do these justice. They are monsters! Can’t wait to get them on this weekend.

@Coachbuilder1 I have a 21 TRD Pro and wondering if I can get only rear shackles without front shims or anything else? Don’t want to start messing with alignments etc. I only want to eliminate the bed sag when I tow my boat. Would the +1 or +2 get the job done without needing front shims, or brake line relocation kit?

My truck with 295/70R18 34inch tires.

I am getting a lift on my truck on Saturday. I am getting Fox 2.0 IFP Coilovers set at 2" in front and I wanted to do 2 shims on drivers side and 1 on the passengers side which would put my lift at 2.5" would +3 Shackles have a stock rake. Would I have to replace my stock UCAs? im not sure I will be running 33x12.50 would that sit to high for those tires?

I currently have a very similar thing with Bilstein 6112 set at 1.9 with 2 shims on the left and one on the right with +3 CB shackles. You maintain almost an inch or so of rake.

Do you know what the stock rake is? I am upgrading my coilovers to Dobinson's IMS, and have my +3 CB Shackles on still. Trying to decide what to set the front coilovers at. 3 on the left and 2.4 on the right, or 3 on both sides? Any input. @Coachbuilder1

Thank for this! So did you not put the shim in? If you did then you'd be imbalanced to the right if I'm reading this right.

I ordered my shackles and carrier bearing drop kit back on the 25th, they haven’t shipped yet. I called to follow up Wednesday and was told I would get shipping information within 24 hours. Still nothing. Kinda disappointed as I wanted to install this week but I guess I’ll just keep waiting, these shackles look beastly, hope they are worth the wait

    Drivers side
The fox shocks are +2” will lower 1/4”=1.75
    Coachbuilder shims are 1/2”x2 -1”
That puts me at 2.75” on driver side

passenger side I leave the fox shocks at 2” and 1 shim @ 1/2” that is 2.5” of lift. That will level it out and gi
    hope this makes sense.

Dude the shackles are amazing!! That is surprising. I ordered my shackles on Sunday night I got mine on Wednesday. CB is based out of Utah though and I live in AZ. So based on where you live could cause longer ship times.

I ordered my +2 schackle kit on Jan 28th. Still no shipping update. But I've been patiently waiting.

Quick Edit: Just called David and the kit is shipping out today. He was waiting for them from production and they got in on Friday.

Nice looking products... I just bought a 2012 crewmax, will be adding an ARE overland shell on the back. I am going to be installing a 3" OME kit with the 612 springs and dakar rear leafs. I would like it to sit level or slightly raked up in the rear to account for payload sag. Which shackles would you recommend, and could you PM me pricing please? Thanks.

Also to answer your question elk hunter I think the general consensus around here is coachbuilder shackles. They off three sizes so I’m sure one will get you where you want to be

Oh sweet Jesus, I can see why that would make one a legend..... That is a fairly epic thread...

I'm thinking the +1s to just bump it up a little and make it a bit beefier than stock. I've run the OMEs on my Tacoma, but I can't remember how level it sat.

Have you considered icon rxt va the Dakar? The reason I ask is because they have several height options as well and that could make it possibly easier to dial in your desired rear height

I have the OME 614 and standard Dakar leaf kit on my truck and it’s ass high by about a 1/4” unloaded.

I got good deal on the complete OME kit with UCAs from SLEE, I really liked my OME setup I had before, it was rock solid, so I just went with what I knew. It's already sitting in the garage, so I'll see how it works. May not even need shackles for it, but this is a new rig for me, so not 100% sure what I'll need for it. I do like the look of the icons though, they look pretty deluxe.
